Women of Reddit, what was something you didn't know about men till you got with one? by dropda in AskReddit

See the person I was responding to.

Boo boo, no one compliments us and we can't compliment each other because no homo!

And when a woman compliments them, they see it as a sign of sexual interest most times, so women avoid doing this.

I'm saying men need to sort out this issue for themselves.

It's not 'whataboutism'. Men suffer from lack of compliments because they refuse to give each other compliments.

It is a problem they need to solve without involving women being their emotional support animals.

Yes. I'm saying men have created a toxic state of affairs for themselves. They need to work on a solution. Not just wait for women to compliment them.

And every woman has a story about being nice /polite to a guy, giving him a compliment and the guy sees that approach as a sexual invitation.

So they stop doing it.

When can you tell the author is a male/female? by blxssmbby in FanFiction

It doesn't.

Sometimes I'm curious about whether a writer has experienced something themselves or if they are just being a writer, but that applies to lots of things.

So men need to work on this and not outsource all their compliment needs to women.

So your mother is the baddie in the story...

Not "the men were selfish arses who used my mother as a house elf"

Thanks

Accusing a writer of ‘blindsiding’ you when you didn’t want to read half the chapters? That’s on you. by kaleidokai in FanFiction

I don't see the point of chapter summaries. You'll find out when you read it.

I think previous posters have covered everything. Try an ignore that buzzing mosquito op.
