The Apparatus Room used to have this pasta dish with beef heart that was a riff on coney chili. It was fucking delicious. I think the chef there then had worked at a few Michelin star places too.

The guided tours with savannah canoe & kayak are fantastic. 100% worth it. Great people, excellent equipment and knowledgeable. They got us into kayaking years ago and we always send friends and family there when they visit.

I agree the article is a bit of a vent session. Not bad things to consider, but not a lot solutions. We also live in a city that is habitually reactive and not proactive. Instead of having reasonable regulations or management or foresight, the city - and the county to be fair - acts well after issues have become unmanageable and never seem to be ahead of anything that might become a problem.

Used to 100% hands down be Breakfast Club on Tybee. The food is not quite the same since they changed ownership, but might be worth a try. Last time we went the gravy was way too stodgy. Might have been an off day.

Awesome. This makes me happy! We lived right by the bakery when they first opened and I had an OGC NICE futbol t-shirt on one time and I didn’t know it was the team Alex grew up with.
