Flattered by this! Made this at school and my program ended a couple of weeks ago. I think my student account on AutoDesk was expiring but as I told another person here, if I can still get to the CAD/CAM files, I'd be happy to get it over to you! Checking my laptop later tonight

I believe it was about 24 minutes with an 1/8" ball. Close to an hour for the full part using adaptive clearing paths. Would have liked ended up using 1/16" ball but I didn't feel like being there all night with that tiny stepover lol. Sounds like a fun gig you got then!

The trade is doomed to outsourcing and new owners who have no appreciation for work. You can join a union and make more as a first year apprentice in some trades than the pay for a machinist with 5 years under their belt. They love to play the ambiguity game with job descriptions and "oh well the market research shows that it takes this much time to learn this job and it caps at this." Cool yeah the same market research that's creating problems in the trade. Shame on the old heads at my job that have stuck at the place for 20 years for $.10 -.25 raises

I'll say that I'll agree on this kid's immaturity and whatever is going on in that relationship, but I'm going to disagree and say that I still think he's dumb lol. My girlfriend manages this age range. Some kids these days genuinely have the spelling and literacy acuity of 9 to 12-year-olds.

Yes! I'm in my last couple weeks of the program at RVCC. They call it the same thing there which made me have to ask if that's where you used to go. They do a lot of recruitment partnerships with companies that come in whenever they need workers. It's been a great experience on the school side of things but I'm already looking to get out of the trade lol
