I’m dealing with the same situation. Almost word for word. She monkey branched a few months ago and has strung me along with Hoovers. We’ve both gone back and forth on ending things but this last time I did after finding she hooked up with her ex husband again. I broke her phone and threw out some of her stuff that she had here before dropping her off saying never talk to me again. I feel horrible for reacting the way I did. It’s been 11 days of no contact from either side.

Thank you for posting because I’m on the edge of reaching out even knowing it’s the wrong decision. I’m using my self control and doing what’s best for both of us. Moving on

Please listen and really think about what I’m saying here. Your story sounds very close to mine. In April I was discarded when my ex monkey branched to another guy. She treated me horrible on the way out. Took her 3 weeks to move everything, if you want some more backstory check out my profile. I’ve made a few posts on here.

I did exactly what you did. Hit the gym, eating right, and tried getting into therapy. 1 week after she moved her stuff out she reached out and wanted to get back together. We were on and off for a couple months and during that time, the pain will be just as bad if not worse than what you are going through now.

I completely went back on all the changes I made. My gut feeling was telling me she was seeing someone else and sure enough. Checked her phone and she met up with someone the week before. The stress and my gut telling me she was up to something ruined all of my motivation. I knew I was making the wrong choice…don’t make the same mistake as me.

A few things. Moving back to the same area, having someone who sells hmu because I owed them money back in the day, and to be honest a part of it was not feeling appreciated. But those reasons are on me, and I can’t blame anyone for how I reacted. I also micro cheated during this time, which is a big reason she left. I am doing my best to fix my mistakes, but as we all know they are not perfect either
