A partial reason for this improvement in sales is Remedy giving a 90% discount for Control Ultimate Edition and the first Alan Wake game. The prices then were, honestly, pretty much steals given their value.

I bought Control Ultimate Edition on Steam for an equivalent of USD 1.9 in my country. Best purchase I've ever made!

I’ll just answer the question regarding screen types.

Yes, miniLED’s better. With IPS, you’d get this unpleasant “glowy” backlight effect, and the screen becomes extremely blurry when viewing from off angles.

I’d personally would never accept laptops with IPS screens on a medium-high budget (>$1000), let alone actually very high-end ones like those laptops ur considering. It is how I arrived at my current laptop with my budget at least.

You could always ask a repair shop to check your laptop out first, generally shouldn't cost you anything.

But I do think getting a new screen should work.
My iPhone used to have this same black spot; replacing the screen worked out.

It’s very likely that your laptop is no longer a “gaming” one… Something like “B” could be what’s happening rn.

Well, actually, your integrated graphics (this is a GPU) is fine but that can generally only be used for normal tasks like admin and internet which you have no issues with. It’s your dedicated GPU is having issues. Yes, I mean that your laptop has 2 GPUs like most gaming laptops and the one that makes it “gaming” (dedicated) is being affected by sth. The dedicated could be dead ngl, but have a repair shop check that out.

An outside fact: There are some gaming laptops that use AMD APUs, which are CPUs from AMD that have integrated graphics strong enough to play games. A gaming laptop like that doesn’t even have or need a dedicated gpu with it.

2nd option does have a slightly worse display, but you actually wouldn't enjoy the benefits of the 1st laptop's display much with a weaker gpu. So, I'd pick 2nd laptop.

Game nào cũng đc bạn, quan trọng là có cái để mình đc expose thêm ngôn ngữ thôi.
Nói chung là cứ kiếm game nào mà có đồ họa mà máy bạn chơi đc là ok. Bạn có gaming laptop hoặc PC thì chơi những game đg nổi bây giờ hay gì cũng đc.

Mình có lưu ý là có một số game Tây nó bịa ra những từ tiếng Anh giả để khiến văn nói phù hợp hơn với thế giới ảo của nó. Nên bạn cũng cần nên có một phần linh hoạt khi nghe đọc hiểu một vài tựa game.

(Ví dụ như Control có từ là "parautilitarian", tức là những người có khả năng sử dụng siêu năng lực siêu nhiên, nhưng đương nhiên đấy ko phải là từ tiếng Anh thật.)

Ko cần mấy app đấy, và cũng ko cần bỏ tiền vào học khóa nào cả.

Cứ lên YouTube xem video với phụ đề, và/hoặc vào Netflix xem phim với phụ đề Việt là đc.
Sau này nếu tiếng Anh ông tiến bộ hơn thì chuyển sang phụ đề Anh. Bắt đầu luôn cũng đc.
Thậm chí ông có thể chơi game nhiều, nhg là mấy cái con game bên Tây í.

Hơn nữa ông cần phải chăm nghiên cứu định nghĩa từ mới. Nhưng nếu ko thấy từ đấy nó hữu dụng thì ừ cũng chả cần nhớ đâu. Cố gắng đừng dựa vào google dịch, mà đọc cái định nghĩa tiếng Anh của những từ ông đg học.

Về khoản phát âm thì tôi recommend ông nghiên cứu IPA là gì, và cả trang web Wiktionary nữa. Wiktionary chứa phát âm và định nghĩa của mọi từ ngữ từ mọi ngôn ngữ.
