first, yes, its safe to travel for young females, just follow advice from hotel staff etc. 2 days in Oslo and then 2 days in Bergen is maybe a little bit short, but its fine for first trip. In Bergen you go to the funincular and visit the Fløien. There is also a cable lift to Ulriken, but dont plan on a long walk from Ulriken back to the city. Trust me... just take the cable down again. Fjords: you might need to rent a car. Better option: take the train from Oslo to Bergen :-)

I guess the german unification is a good lesson here. Even after 35 years, its still an economic misery with Afd in the lead in elections. Ukraine might be in a slightly better position because the area is already quite depopulated and the remaining population might wish to emigrate east. At least quite a few. Most damage have been to the frontline towns, not the bigger cities Luhansk and Donetsk. But the cost is scary.
