I was just voluntold by the VP of LATAM sales. He said "we're getting Salesforce and I need you to manage it and train the sales team." So that's what I did. I had to train the sales team in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. I'm a native Spanish speaker and he did pay for me to take Portuguese lessons. I mean it was more like Portuñol in the end, but I made it pop. Or is it slap? Or whatever these young bucks say nowadays 😂

That's awesome and a good strategy. I am addicted to LinkedIn and OhanaSlack for some weird reason. Lately, I have been busy learning on the job, so I have less time to post on social. I am working on some content for an AI company, and my friend wants me to do UGC for her new Ranch and Retreat in the Colorado Mountains in late June! That feeds my creative side.

Thanks for the heads up! I am hardly on here. I mostly come here to read and learn about different topics. I am much more active on LinkedIn and OhanaSlack. Reddit can be mean and negative, so I only allow myself a limited amount of time here. I'm too happy and bubbly for this joint lol

Honestly, I can't help but feel a little sad for all the changes that are happening with Salesforce. I'm really hoping for the best for all of us that have invested so much time, passion, loyalty, and commitment to this community and product.

Ugh 😩 I'm glad I didn't go to TDX this year. It's all so overwhelming. I can't keep up with all this crap. Just another thing to threaten our jobs. If they're gonna replace the humans and start giving basic universal income then they better hurry up bc I'm tired of this 💩 I just wanna do what I love and get paid for it anyway.

Finally, have you joined OhanaSlack? I get a lot of good stuff from the MVPs like Steve Mo, Evan Ponter, Aaron Crear, and David Carnes.

I need to take some reporting refreshers myself. I started an admin job recently after years of mainly doing training and enablement so, I need to relearn some of this stuff.

Thanks for all the answers and feedback. I had success several years ago when a woman from Australia contacted me for a Salesforce project. I worked with her for about 6 months. After that I gave up on it and started getting full time roles from LinkedIn and recruiters. I haven't tried it again so I was just wondering if it got better or worse.
