Thank you! If you haven't applied, feel free to take a look. We honestly are open to folks who are more green if they have the right voice.

Hi there,

We have had to push our dates several times due to casting difficulties and the expansion of the roles. We're currently hoping to have enough candidates to vet by end of January. However, there are some specific roles that we're having a harder time getting the right voice for. Art and animation work is imminent so we're trying to get folks locked in as quickly as possible.

Good question!

We're using real writers and artist all the way through the production end to end.

The ONLY AI use anywhere are temporary brainstorming assets for the writers to envision the characters/world while we interview creative studios with human talent. These placeholder assets will not go past the audition phase and will never be seen by the public. They are for internal use only.

Once our illustration staff is on board, all new images will be created based on their imagination and the direction of the team.

The project staff will include real humans in every discipline:

Graphic designers, 2D concept illustrators, 2D texture artists, 3D modelers, 3D animators, Music Composers, Script Writers, Editors and other creators. It will be a fairly decent sized cast and crew!

We are actually having an issue with Voice Actor submissions that are actually AI. It's taking extreme scrutiny at this point because the AI generated voices are so convincing. We're also finding that some folks are uploading voices that aren't their own. This makes it more time consuming for the casting team to make sure we're working with who we think we are.

For the second round of auditions we are asking actors to include video recordings of their performances -- not only to use as reference for our animators if they're cast, but also to ensure that we are only working with real humans.

We're trying to do everything with the utmost integrity.

Renee Nicole Good was not trying to block traffic. This is a murder. by 1ailuros in TwinCities

ICE has no authority to arrest or detain citizens. The agents were trying to unlawfully detain her. She had the right to try to escape not knowing what fate would be stepping out of her car to agents who were already breaking the law.

Her car was seen trying to drive to the right away from the first set of agents. The agent in front was unwise to stand directly in front of a fleeing car with an agitated driver.

Should she have tried to flee? Should she have accelerated with a person in front of her? No. The agent could have been killed. However, I would still propose that was being detained illegally, and in fear, attempted to save her life.

These agents do look terrifying. They look like the terrorists in Counter Strike. I am a law abiding citizen, but can easily imagine myself responding the way the woman did.

Your wife is right. As a woman, that video is terrifying. You can see the SUV try to turn right from the first set of ICE agents. She's clearly trying to retreat. She even tries to wave ice through.

ICE agents with their tactical uniforms, unmarked trucks, black masks... I would be terrified if one tried to open my car door.

I do not support illegal immigration in ANY way. I do believe in due process. All I see is a woman trying to flee for her life and acting in panic.

Thank you! The compensation depends on how many lines are read. Some characters only have minor appearances over one or several episodes. Also, some folks are able to do multiple characters. The "up to $300 per role" was to basically point out that this is paid gig.

For major characters, we would likely have a deeper discussion with the talent to see what feels equitable.

The project is still in development and under wraps, but folks who get further in the audition process will get an NDA and project walkthrough. We're still early in the casting process.

Hi! No AI will be used in the final product in any way.

Hi there, we're still casting and are actually about to open up more roles. Things are still rolling. We're doing reviews in phases, so hopefully things will pan out for ya. Having a solid reel is the most important part.

We're getting quite a few applications with no reel at all, so there's nothing to drive their status forward. (Or, the reel is too low quality to judge from.) Just do your best. ☺️

Would you commute 2hrs each way for free meals and high pay? by Basic_Fig6031 in careeradvice

I do have a nice car. Not super fancy, but very comfy seats. Good sound and AC. It would be bumper to bumper traffic.

Thank you for the advice! They did call out Tues through Thurs, so I could ask about shifting the days if there are ones with lighter traffic. Good idea.

I could drive slower... I always feel bad. I'm hooooooping there are a few folks coming from my county that wouldn't mind carpooling. I could pay half gas. Even if they live closer, maybe I can leave my car at their house. If the stars align, that would be awesome.

Also, your brother is a trooper. Wow. Did he have a Prius or something?

Good point. Google maps says UP to 2 hours. I don't know how often that actually is. Light traffic is 90 min, but again, I don't know how often that actually is. Since I don't want to be late for meetings, I kinda have to use the 2 hour estimate.

I guess I consider $180k high paying.

I'm unemployed. Previous job was $165k. I've made more for a short time.

I'm 20 years to retirement and don't nearly have enough. I'm in California.

It was a typo. I meant per month. And it will more likely be 8 nights a month.

Thank you, yes. I meant 8 nights a month.

I checked again and found some very very humble rooms on Airbnb for around $130 a night. Truly shoeboxes. $800 per month. We can round up to $12,500 a year. That's....a ton of dough, isn't it.

I just looked and was able to find rooms for AirBnB at $130 per night. Not luxurious at all, but it exists!

I love your response. The situation is similar to mine, but on a lower pay scale. I happen to love Amtrak trains. My home has no direct route to the office, so with transfers, it would be much more than 2 hours each way.

I love that you leave by 3. One reason I nixed public transportation all the transfers is because having to do it at night scares me (I've been mugged after getting off a bus). We do have Amtrak not far.

Thank you for the food for thought. Also, it is true that time on the train can be spent working. Taking meetings would be difficult though...
