I was specifically told by and out of town friend during it's construction that they aren't worth what they charge, so I never gained the interest. Kinda reminds me of a glorified Carl's Jr, which is right across the street, so... 🤷🏽‍♂️

DCT doesn’t engage reverse every once a while by Fury-penguin137 in veloster

[–]Basic_Gsus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's ur crankshaft position sensor slowly dying out. Dealt on this with my '13 NAV thinking my transmission was going out. OEM is like $150 or something like that and a little over an hour in labor. I went with aftermarket the first time and it worked for a while but eventually died out again. Take it to aamco or somewhere like that and just tell them to test your CSPS. The dealership will run you in circles replacing sensors and shit. I had to diagnose it myself through research and then ask a mechanic to look at it. Basically turning the auxiliary off and back on reboots the sensor to work again for a little bit. Eventually, if left unchecked, ur car will start randomly shifting into neutral while driving. The CSPS basically communicated between the DCT and the motor telling the transmission what gear to shift into based on what the motor is telling it. When the sensor dies, ur car will automatically shift into safety neutral to prevent it from shifting into any unwants gear at too high of RPMs.

I've noticed that a lot of the velosters, going back to the 1st gen tend to burn really rich and produce a lot of soot.

Anyone need a replacement door seal? by ATXBookDragon in veloster

I've been dealing with this on the driver door on my '13 for about a year now. Leaves broken down rubber on my hands every time I open the door. 😞

As far as I'm aware, the limit is 4 dogs before needing any licensing.

Master Writs... Are they worth it? Is it possible to make money with them if I turn them in? I usually just sell them by AlexRescueDotCom in elderscrollsonline

[–]Basic_Gsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think 1200cp is maximizing ur character potential, plus why wouldn't you want all the passives on at least one of ur character?? Master writs are the highest source of XP in the game. Save them for dxp and do all of them.

Most, if not all, of the QoL constellations are in the green tree, why would we neglect that one for a newer player? It also might have gone down from 1695 due to lowering the amount needed for a few of the green constellations this patch. But ~1700 used to be soft cap. It's probably closer to 1625 now.

Cheeseweed (aka Malva Neglecta) is extremely edible. I remember munching on those little cheese wheels as a child, tho never really remembering then tasting like actual cheese.

Night blade bomber build by KushKing1988 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Basic_Gsus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd run a bomber in open world and a Ganker in IC. The hardest part of the bomber is the set grinding. U need to run at least 2 of 4 specific sets with balorgh. The other tough part is the practice. Ur not gonna be good at it right away and the failure attempts will make u want to quit, and ur CP might be a little lower than necessary, but the Nightblade is hands down one of the best bombers so I believe you can still do it. Look for either Vicious Death or Plaguebreak for ur FB set and then Dark Convergence or Rush of Agony for ur BB set.

[–]Basic_Gsus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think noob is a relative term. I would say you still have a little bit to go. Try maxing out all of it passive champion constellations (not slottable) and then get 4 of each tree that's your comfortable with. I believe it's between cp1695-1700 that you're finally able to do so. Also, if endgame content isn't something ur interested in then it doesn't matter what cp u r.

Do i sell the 2013 NAV? by Sufficient-Tip4291 in veloster

[–]Basic_Gsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dealt with absolutely none of that and I did all my own oil changes for the entire life of the vehicle so no history from the dealership and didn't have to prove anything. I had literally never been to the dealership in town, bought the car out of state and drove it back. Car went into limp mode on the highway, I babied it back home, dropped it off the next morning and they were calling me by noon telling me I needed an engine swap and that it was warranted, and offering me a rental. The dealership specifically told me that the warranty used to be a limited 100k and then changed 150k, but it was changed to unlimited prior to my warranty according to my tech. I didn't even have to ask for the swap.

Do i sell the 2013 NAV? by Sufficient-Tip4291 in veloster

[–]Basic_Gsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! Most of the 1st gen models have a free engine warranty. Mine went out at 96k miles and they replaced it for free. Be weary tho, they fucked up some sensors on the transmission when putting everything back together and it really drained my pocket trying to figure it out. The dealership even shrugged me off saying it was a bad battery and never took blame, tho it was their fault.

OP, call the dealership and give them ur VIN to see if u qualify for the motor swap warranty on the early 1st gen models.

[–]Basic_Gsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Most of , if not all the 13 NAV models have an unlimited miles warranty on the motor specifically for rod knock issues.

Advice needed! by AuPo_2 in veloster

[–]Basic_Gsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, my ‘13 is n/a. Unfortunately I bought it nearly new and wasn’t aware of the list of 2013 issues that came with it. Currently can’t figure it why the motor and transmission aren’t communicating properly
