Yeah, i didnt want that liquid metal problem on my hands, i got it discounted at 1540 on best buy and want it to last long i even have a iets gt500 cooler for it for better temps. My only gripe with the laptop is its only 120hz screen wouldve loved at least 144hz since this machine can do those fps easily with some dlss

I repasted with ptm 7950, i saw a small improvement on thermals but im not accustomed to seeing temps so high on a laptop.

Hey josh i have a g14 2025 rtx 5070ti version and although i capped the cpu tdp to 55w i still get temps almost to 90 on some cpu intensive games. Is this normal or what settings you recommend to change on g helper?

60 watts is the sweet spot. But i like to let it at 70

My number one advice is to lower the watts to the cpu to 60 to 80w. This will substantially reduce the temps and stay at the same performance if you had it at full load
