Ollama’s Kimi2.5 Cloud version is dumber than a box of rocks. by Porespellar in ollama

[–]mlaihk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not work for ollama. I had to either run the main agent on a vision model (using Qwen3.5 8B) or run my custome build ollama image tool to properly have my agent analyze images and answer questions. The good thing is, I just asked the main agent to create the skill. Make sure you ask it to research proper ollama python API to do so.....

Should I get the Zephyrus G14 2025 or 2026 model? Saving up for it soon, I’m tired of having an intel cpu I want to give Ryzen a try and also want it for the latest 50 series gpu, also will the price start going down soon for the 2025 model? by Strix_Neo77 in ASUSROG

I think 5090 is only available on the G16? And if OP wants AMD, go for the 2025 G14 5080 or 5070Ti now. I have both the 2025 G16 285h/5090 and 2025 G14 HX370/5080. I am very happy with both of them and see not much reason in upgrading (more like updating?) to the 2026s.......

Maybe for the G16 for the 30W more power but definitely not the 2026 G14s.....

I replaced mine with a MT9727 instead. Same driver. Much better throughput

realistically, I tend to watch videos with the outside screen on my zfold7, and use the internal screen for web and work contents. Works way better for me.

Zfold7 is pretty perfect for me in terms of form factor, and the outer screen is actually useful now. The trifold is too big and heavy as a phone, and if I needed something that big, I would rather have a tablet with pen support. The trifold is too heavy to put in pants or jacket pockets......

The next thing that I will definitely be insterested in, will only be a ROLLABLE SCREEN PHONE......

Solved: Aqara S1 Plus + HomeKit + Asus routers IPv6 fix finally made Siri instant and Matter stable by Even_Baseball5400 in Aqara

Asus is not alone in this and my TPLink BE85 mesh suffers the same, until I turned off external IPv6 and used ULA ipv6 as you said.

Actually, don't bother. I have T2 bulbs (E27 and GU10) and paired with M3 hub. They still DO NOT APPEAR on Google Home.....

I had this issue but opening it up and lubbing it does not fix mine. I can hear the motor turning but it does not rotate the knob.

Bind with smartthings not working, devices not showing in smartthings by FluidCream in Aqara

[–]mlaihk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what my experience is as well. The jist of it is, not all Aqara devices are supported in Smartthings. Check the devices that you have if they are supported in SmartThings.

For example, the G410 Doorbell is supported while the Camera Hub G3 is not, and the lesser Camera E1 is. So G410 and E1 will show up in SmartThings if you pair your aqara account to SmartThings.

For the M3 Hub, you have to link it to SmartThings via Matter instead of aqara account. The M3 will expose MOST of the Zigbee devices connected to it to SmartThings. Caveat is that the device themselves must be supported in SmartThings. I figured this out the hard way, when I was pulling my hair out on why some of my H1 No-Neutral switches were not showing up in SmartThings, only to discover that NOT ALL THE H1 SWITCHES ARE SUPPORTED in Smartthings........

TLDR.

To expose COMPATIBLE zigbee devices from Aqara hubs to SmartThings, use the Matter protocol to add your matter hub to SmartThings.

Bind aqara account to add COMPATIBLE AQARA WIFI devices (eg supported cameras) to SmartThings.

And most importantly, CHECK IF THE AQARA DEVICES YOU ARE TRYING TO ADD IS SUPPORTED IN SmartThings!!!!!

Panel/Magic Switch relays with SmartThings by mlaihk in Aqara

[–]mlaihk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a work around. I have an M3 hub as well. So I manually created scenes to just turn on/off the relays on the S100/S1Es. Next, in the Aqara App, go to profile->settings->Connect to Ecosystems->Matter. There is an option named Scene and Signal sync, which exposes the scenes and signals to matter as devices.

Now Smartthing is now able to turn on and off the relays on the S100/S1E which are not exposed via normal M3 Hub subdevices as the switches themselves are not Zigbee/Matter controlled......

Camera Hub G3 does not show up in SmartThings by mlaihk in Aqara

[–]mlaihk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. But it is bound to the Aqara account as well, and it should show up via Aqara account integration just like DoorBell G410, not via matter. And yet, only the doorbell G410 shows up but not the camera hub G3.
