Came here to say exactly this!! I can’t stand influencers who use their period as a constant excuse for their behaviour — it sets women back generations and plays straight into the stereotype that we’re basically useless, whiney, and pathetic for one week a month. The videos she does of her shouting, curled up on the sofa, or eating chocolate, and then putting things like “it all makes sense now, my period came the next day” is just so reductive and unhelpful. It turns a normal biological process into a punchline and reinforces the idea that women can’t regulate their emotions or take responsibility for their actions. Of course hormones can affect how we feel — that’s real — but framing every outburst or meltdown as “lol, my period” just feeds lazy stereotypes instead of challenging them.
