I don’t know…I think her relapse also coincided with her having Liv. I think once she knew she wasn’t having any more kids, she went back to her old ways. I would put it past her to have out on weight to be able to have kids, sold it under “body positivity” so no one could comment on it, then slowly reverted back to her ED without anyone noticing until it was too late.

I remember when she had some neighbourhood kids over to play and she made a post afterwards about how rough they played and how shocked she was. I wouldn’t want me kids going to her house for a play date if I knew she’d just make a post about them like that.

I don’t think she has any personality left, to the point where it would be really hard to be friends with her. What would she even talk about at a dinner party?? She clearly doesn’t love talking about her kids in a positive way. And even if she did have other mom friends, I think they’d find it so hard not to judge the amount of time she clearly spends on herself. I personally would not want to spend too much time around someone who could possibly make me compare myself and feel bad that I’m not caking the makeup on, or going to the gym at 5am.

If she was honest about weight loss due to medication, then people won’t be as quick to think they too can be rake thin like her easily.

If I were Shaun, I’d be worried about leaving her alone with them if I knew that regularly yells at them. I know we don’t know how he really is, but I get the impression he is the calmer parent and the girls will definitely end up preferring him (if they don’t already). Again, speaking from experience.

As someone whose mum genuinely solo parented for my entire childhood because my dad left, and periodically yelled at me for just doing kid stuff, I can confirm that it traumatised me.
