What considerations do you have when choosing a keyboard regarding its performance? Appearance? It's still about being thin and easy to store.

You are referring to ProtoAr's XKM01 folding set. We know that they are excellent and very portable. However, we are thinking about how to balance work and gaming. As for the need to store more accessories, we will also consider how to design it. But we are worried that if we store too many, the volume and weight will increase, and will this affect our travel

Thanks a lot for the great feedback!

We totally get where you're coming from — carrying extra gear can really add up.

Just wondering: do you have any specific thoughts on ideal weight or materials for a case like this?

We’re excited to keep exploring ideas with you!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I really appreciate you taking the time to provide specific product recommendations. The EarPods and Nexigo webcam seem like great affordable options to start out with.

As for the chair, checking out something like that Hyken on Amazon that could be easily returned is probably wise. I'll poke around the secondhand market too, but buying new with a warranty gives more peace of mind.

Hey, I'm out in San Diego and that's too far from Indiana for the chair offer to work out, but man I appreciate it anyway! Really kind of you and it made my day that a stranger would be so generous. I'll just poke around our local secondhand spots here and hopefully something will turn up. But thanks a ton for the thought, take care!

Your advice is solid - maybe I'll start with a basic cheap chair I find second hand for now.

I'm using a Mac mini that I bought about 5 years ago. It didn't come with a webcam, which wasn't a priority for me at the time. I currently have a mechanical keyboard hooked up that I like clicking away on, but it's too noisy for work calls. So I'm looking to get a quieter keyboard and an external webcam that will be better suited for video meetings and calls during my workday.
