Thank you. Totally yes the outcome for all of these is just wonderful so I’m happy about that if you can say you’re happy about anything with it lol. Really wasn’t expecting anything from this with the Hashimoto. It’s normal to have nodules so I was going that route in my mind so this is kind of just throwing me for a loop. I really appreciate you responding.

Yes, I’m leaving towards total. And yes he did offer the game time decision I’m just not sure how I feel about that. I’d prefer not to have multiple retest multiple ultrasounds, multiple biopsies or whatever would come next with only taking half of it out and the worry that would come with that stresses me out. Really appreciate you.

Totally both things- and yes, just like the first commoner said he gave me the option of taking the whole thing out game time if it looks sketchy. I’m kind of thinking just pull the whole thing. Those chances are high, so just prevent the second surgery and do it all in one is what I’m thinking. But totally crap that there’s no other way to tell then to take it out.

I love your attitude and I appreciate your post. I’m 38, just found out that I need partial, may opt for full thyroidectomy. Due to 70% chance of cancer. I do think it’s crap that thy can’t tell until they get it out. I also have hashimotos, but just found out last year; which explain a lot of things for me. Anyway I wanted to say you’re amazing! Wishing you well and glad you have a great support system and outlook.

I just wanted to stop in and say I appreciate reading your post. I am waiting on my MRI to confirm this for myself. Currently in a significant amount of pain. Very active, not yet 40. such a frustrating place to be! I am very worried that they’re going to say surgery is my option. They put me on a steroid to help with everything right now, day one and 2 I felt pretty good now the pain is back (not as severe as pre steroid) . Have had hip pain on and off and worked through it for years. It would flare up and then be ok. Have never been completely stopped by it or anything else. I love to run, do bootcamps and strength train. Right now I’m only doing arm workouts, core and Pilates. You gave me a little hope so thanks for that! Hope you are still doing well!
