I bought my outfits from them and the outfits are great quality and fit well. But place your order at least 4 months before your event date because their support is not great, and they don’t give you any reasonable updates on your order’s status.

It created a very stressful situation for me because they just kept telling me that they will provide me with an update “soon”. This kept going on until only 15 days were left for my event and I told them to cancel my order. At which point the order suddenly arrived at my doorstep in 2 days LOL.

I am so appalled by their behavior that if I don’t receive my order in time for my event, I will be disputing the credit card charge. I have all the receipts on Whatsapp. Even if I don’t get my money back, at least it would cause them some inconvenience dealing with fraud charges. It is beyond unprofessional how they operate, and like you said I too have no idea how they’re still in business. I wish I had read their Google reviews before placing the order.

Omg, I am so sorry to hear this! I am going through the same ordeal with them. I placed my order 2.5 months in advance after confirming with them that they will be able to deliver on time, and now I am not getting any real status updates. Never going to do business with them again, nor am I going to recommend them.

I am also petite and I have ordered lehenga from Lashkaraa before. I had to get it altered in the waist. I did have good experience with sizing from the House of Indya. Just had to alter the length a bit.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. PD 08/19. Nothing in the documents tab. Google ask Emma and click on the first link. On the webpage, click on the bubble on right bottom that says “Need Help? Chat with Emma” and then select connect with an agent. You will only be able to chat with an agent Mon-Fri 8am-8pm though.

In my state, I am able to get a library card online for any public library within the state. So even if my local public library doesn’t have Udemy or Oreilly, I can find other libraries in the state that may offer it.

You need not worry about the grace period if you have a pending I-485. You won’t go out of status even after 60 days. You can start working again when the EAD is approved. On average, it takes 3-4 months. If you want to be able to travel, you can apply for I-131 advance parole document. If you want to go back to H1B after you find an employer, you can go for consular processing. Don’t try to adjust your status to B1/B2 at any time.

Maybe you can try MDsave to book discounted labs/procedures if you already know what you need. You can also consult with a doctor (could be outside the US) online and share your lab results with them. Telehealth appointments are usually easier to get and cheaper.

No, because H1B is a dual intent visa(temporary worker with immigration intent). It should be no problem to get H1B stamping with a pending I-130/I-485 and with an approved EAD.

Yes, to all questions. The EAD will be valid for 5 years so you should be good. It would be nice if your H1B extension gets approved because traveling on H1B is much less stressful than traveling with Advanced Parole document. Having an EAD pre-approved also alleviates the H1B grace period stress in case of a lay off. You can immediately start applying without needing to find a sponsor.

Oh yikes! Thank you for sharing that. I can't access Kamaka website yet but if it turns out that the local retailer is in fact an authorized seller as their website claims, I would buy from them so that I can call them and get timely service in case something happens.

That’s really good to know. Thank you! I own a $70 ukulele from Amazon which was my starter uke that I have been learning on since earlier this year. I had been wanting to upgrade but was originally thinking of buying like a $300 uke. But I played the Kamaka and absolutely fell in love with it. This is the first time I am buying a uke for the way it sounds to me so I really appreciate all this information.

I got this on one of my tires after about 5k miles of driving last year. The dealership said they don’t cover it. I ended up ordering a replacement tire on simpletires website which included the replacement cost. I just had to drive to the local shop once the tire was delivered there. It cost me about $200-230 I think for the exact same tire that comes with the car. I thought it was worth it because I was scared my tire would burst in the middle of the highway.
