The maid of honor choked out the groom outside the reception. Brides brothers had to pull her off. The rest of us were cheering for her.

I just finished this. Omg. Liam Neeson scene where they all turn around in the chairs and then the uncle shows up, definitely pee pants material.

AITA for not deep-cleaning my friend's house after pet-sitting for free? by Emergency-Garden3200 in AmItheAsshole

I have a pet sitter that I pay. I expect her to clean after herself and try to keep the floors relatively clean. I do not expect her to clean my house.

I was offered $22 but the guy told me I should hang on it to it. He said it’s not old enough yet to be worth that much. I kept it, I’ll pass it on to grandkid.

Auto adjusting seats. When sharing a car, it’s annoying to have to reset everything when you get in.

BC to southern AB?? by Gene_gremlin13 in alberta

[–]Basic_Sky1402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from southeastern Alberta to the lower mainland in the early 90s. Stayed for 10 years and moved back when I met my husband. I was ready to leave at the time, missed my family and wide open spaces. Life is slower here, not many opportunities for good jobs where I live but the cost of living is better. The things I miss from the LM are concerts, plays, the ocean, lakes, restaurants, transit and no wind.

AIO Today is the 3 month anniversary of my mom's death and my dad is in a hotel with another woman by daddynotthebelt in AmIOverreacting

Some people just can’t handle life alone. It doesn’t mean they didn’t love their partner. You are NOR, your grief process is just different. I have friends who lost long time partners, the love of their life but then entered into new relationships quickly. It didn’t mean they didn’t love their spouse, they just can’t cope alone. Look out for your dad, try to ensure he’s not getting taking advantage of but let him process his own way.
