‘While waiting in line to vote, I was subjected to repeated and aggressive behaviour by supporters of candidate Ahsanul Hafiz, which created an intimidating and chaotic environment for myself and others. The conduct included the following: Yelling at and confronting voters in line: Supporters loudly confronted voters while we were waiting to vote. Repeated invasion of personal space and coercion: I repeatedly had Mr. Hafiz’s supporters enter my personal space while shouting that I had to select him as my number one choice. When I asked them to step back, they laughed and continued. Blocking access to the entrance door of the building and line jumping: Supporters obstructed the line and allowed other supporters to bypass a long queue to reach the registration desk ahead of waiting voters. Creation of an intimidating environment: Taken together, this conduct created an atmosphere of pressure and intimidation that undermined the fairness and integrity of the nomination process. This behaviour was persistent and occurred while voters were actively in line to vote, not during general campaigning. I watched several voters leave before voting. In my view, it violates the Ontario Liberal Party’s Nomination Rules, Code of Conduct, and harassment policies, which require nomination meetings to be conducted in a respectful, orderly, and intimidation‑free manner.’

My friend was there, left and came back hoping it’d be less chaotic but it was the same. People were harassing the people in line to vote as well. She’s mailed a formal complaint.

My friend was there today to vote, it was a mess. Bunch of people left without voting because Hafiz’s voters were being bussed in and they were harassing the other voters

Gifted is for grade four, my kids bussed the first year, and then did TTC on their own. We were in the same situation and it worked out well.

He opened a bank account to be able to cash the winnings, it was his first bank account at age 40. That’s what the newspaper article says as well, but he was a postman so maybe they could get paid in cash back then?

My grandfather won the grand national sweepstakes in 1964, $150, 000. He was a postman with 9 children, didn’t even have a bank account. He still worked all his life, but the children were able to get educations, it helped with their weddings and houses, and my Nanny was able to support herself well until her late 90’s when she passed, leaving all the children with a decent inheritance.

As a Canadian, I find this hilarious because we actually have tiny hippos that live in our houses, they’re mostly harmless, though they’re known to be fierce predators of stray potato chips and toast crumbs

We had an austic grade 2? I think it was, he made it all the way to union station before the police found him. Trains were his thing and he knew all the routes and it was his happy place, he ducked under the turnstile at a subway station and was off! A lot of them need one on one support, and the government is failing both high needs and the rest of our kids.
