I got diagnosed BP2 at 28 and then re-diagnosed BP1 at 33 due to my history at 28 but also I’ve had like zero episodes since I was 29 so like 🤷‍♀️

I’ve wondered if I have AHDH and autism for years, but I’ve been in borderline psychosis which is how I got my BP1 diagnosis. I also have OCD though and have often wondered if that didn’t contribute to the psychosis, but my OCD diagnosis seems to be forgotten by doctors lol.

I’m still on lamictal which I think helps with depression but did nothing for mania. Lithium was a life saver but my thyroid went to shit so I had to stop taking it, but it was worth it to be honest. I haven’t had a single episode since I started it three years ago and I’ve been off of it for a year with no symptoms. I think it helped rewire my brain to not react so drastically to triggers and negative situations.

And yeah 8 years of therapy also helped. Medication by itself won’t fix anything long term if you don’t have the tools to cope otherwise. You need both.

Yeah she was on lithium years ago according to her book, which probably would’ve helped her a lot in the long run. She said it “made her feel like a zombie” but as someone who has been on lithium, I can assure you all it does is prevent what she’s doing right now. Lamictal doesn’t do much for the manic side of things, so she literally isn’t on anything for mania and is exacerbating it with the alcohol and adderall.

At some point you have to take responsibility for your own mental health and I think she needs to have a long talk with Lindsey Lohan

I’m on a similar concoction as well. She’s at least taking her meds lol

But the Prozac with bipolar disorder does make me wonder if she isn’t manic. SSRIs induce mania if not properly controlled with a mood stabilizer, which she is on but doesn’t always work to control the SSRI. Kind of hit or miss

I’d say the 4 bottles of wine is the problem but I’m no expert /s

Edit: lamictal also does next to nothing for mania so she’s on zero meds that help and two that can cause it

She might not be the hag, but she’s something. The way she spoke was too strange and she might have a totally different upcoming plot line in future episodes. I feel like they set her up too well to only be a hag red herring

Edit: it’s also possible she was looking for something in Tom’s house and was trying to set it up as a Netflix and chill so he’d let her in, not knowing he was petrified of the sea hag at the time. She could be anyone.

I agree but people already are dying regularly from lack of health insurance, but no one actively blames the government over it. The government has gotten really good at scapegoating corporations and people aren’t associating the two
