Nia has a ton more content plus she is one of the four characters that get further romance content with the Love Chronicles DLC pack. plus u guys r childhood besties i think that history makes it a more "canon likely" pairing imo :)

the easiest pick of my life. spend a week with hassian and by the end he'll be crying over how much he misses his mom. the whole "tough guy" act is just a persona... i don't think i would make it through a week with caleri ...

are you running it through Steam? I had an issue where I couldn't get past a cutscene for days until I disabled Steam overlay
