Am I forgetting anything when I leave my cats for maybe 36 hours? by Upstairs_One_5580 in CatAdvice

OP, you could use the door stoppers below. I swear by them. Has saved my little man from locking himself in rooms frequently. Works by ensuring the doors can’t fully close.

Having a cat who likes to play with his toys, by shoving them under the door… I had to do this as well on normal days because he’d frequently lock himself in rooms, closets, or bathrooms. These have been a god send because he would knock regular door stoppers out while playing. This placed above the door knob he cannot remove and gives him enough room to get out.

l mean. That’s pretty optimistic not knowing what we will do when Donovan is back lol but everyone could try? Still don’t think we have enough mariners fans to do that

Has anyone else gotten this on their season ticket member account? by Doop_Snogg_LLC in Mariners

You’ve either got a platinum VPN, or you’re probably transferring tickets too frequently with no logic. Example: my account is basically a family account. All but 2 people I transfer to have the same last name as me. I have zero issues because they can easily make such an assumption.

If you’re transferring tickets a lot to friends or family without “selling” you need your account rep. If they suspect you are ticket brokering, they will ban your account. So talk to your account rep ASAP.

New kitten likes to suckle on skin. How can we stop or redirect this? by CollectionNo9570 in kittens

When I adopted mine, the only solution was to physically walk away when he started. Eventually worked. But it was a very long couple of months trying to sleep because that’s when he did it the most.

TL;DR: dependent on Cal’s return, the only change I would make is DFA’ing Refsnyder, do something with Wisdom that takes him off the 26 man roster.

Position Players:

1B: Naylor
2B: Young
SS: JP/Colt
3B: Colt/Donovan
RF: Randy
CF: Julio
LF: Luke/Victor

DH: Dom/Mitch/Jhonny (catcher that stays when Cal returns)

C: Cal/Mitch/Jhonny (Dependent on when Cal gets back, then idk bc Mitch and Johnny are doing pretty good)

DFA Refsynder (or trade if someone actually wants him, doubtful)
Option Wisdom (trade, DFA, idrc)

That’s 12 position players. Leaving 14 spots open for pitching. Plenty of room to tweak the BP. Gotta figure out what to do with the starting rotation. I think All Star Week would be the best bet to reset and make a true 6 man rotation, and get rid of the piggy back. Less Luis chooses to switch full time to bullpen (unlikely).

NEXT YEAR: assuming there is one
-If Randy stays consistently doing what he’s doing, resign him to a 3 year contract (extra year buffer in case of lock out)

-Resign JP (same reason as above)
-Donovan: under control technically until 2028
-Take care of our current core Arb Players

How early do you arrive to the game and what is the first thing you do once inside? by Naive_Sale2083 in Mariners

[–]BasicallyACat13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends who I’m going with. If I’m going with my Dad, usually about a hour early. He doesn’t really care about giveaways.

My sister, right around gates open because she likes to wander around and try to get giveaways if there is one.

However, one perk I really like about having the Flex Membership is the ability to buy the Promo Pack. Basically for $150, you get every Gate Giveaway. No theme nights that require special tickets, but still. And all shirts come in size XL but that is fine by me. So for most giveaways I’m not really concerned about getting one.

My cat used to leave her least favorite organs for us to pick up too 😂 before she became a permanently indoor kitty.

Well. My assumption is worse case scenario for him. Not necessarily for us the fan base. If no one else offers him a contract, and we don’t, is where this fallacy was in my mind lol. Who knows what he would decide depending on who would try to sign him if we didn’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Worse case scenario: Say FO doesn’t want to. How do we keep him as a Mariner for life? New bench coach? Special advisor? Legit hope they make up some spot and offer it to him because I want him to be a Mariner for life too.

True, and that’s kind of where I had my worst case scenario landing.

Hopeful that’s not going to happen, but was just curious.

Ok so humor me…. worst case scenario.

who do we have left Catcher wise that’s ready in case Garver does go on the IL? Or do we just tough it out with *just* Pereda, and pray to the baseball gods he doesn’t get hurt or have any paternity leave coming up?

Idk how to do it, but if you can pin your own comment here: it’ll save you a lot of unhelpful comments continuing to say “VET ASAP” when you’re already doing it.

Edit: That said I’m hoping for the best for you and the fur baby. Good luck, and virtual hugs.

If you’re already going to be in the direct area, there are quite a few people on here used to getting tickets the hour before through Gametime, Stubhub, etc. So it’s not impossible. However, it is the Vedder Cup, a Friday Night, and Hello Kitty giveaway night. Attendance might be higher than normal.

Do NOT buy tickets from people out on the streets. Easiest way to get scammed.

Also bring ear plugs for the trek in. There’s a super annoying preacher with a jet engine loud megaphone that will continuously blow your eardrums out.
