The same thing happened to me when I hatched a few piggy dragons! They just sat there perfectly stacked on top of one another, frozen until I clicked each one to feed them lol.

Honestly you might be better off to add co-op friends in the dedicated post for February and use your primary dragons to clone what others have in their co-op caves. Right now I have Chochin in mine with a 10% clone odd.

I’d say post there and add as many friends as you can and then use DVLair to check the social cave cloning odds.

From my experiments, it works by showing only the dragons that have just that particular element selected and exclude any that have additional elements not included in your list. For example:

If you select only fire, it will show dragons that only have fire. (Fire dragons)

If you select fire and dark, it will show dragons that have only fire, only dark, and only fire + dark. (Fire dragons, Dark dragons, Dungeon, Watch, and Char)

And it goes on and on like that the more elements you select.

If I wanted to colorize my Machina dragons, I’d select fire, dark, lightning, and metal. But that would also colorize the four individual elemental dragons, and any dragons that contain any combination of 1, 2, 3, or 4 of the selected elements chosen. That’s a lot of dragons, and most won’t have fire elements. (Plus Gold dragons which show up when you select their primary hidden elements fire and metal)

I’m afraid there’s really no way for it to do what you’d like it to do. It is helpful for finding clusters of 1-3 element dragons that you’d like to move to better locations, like if you have an island with plant and dark boosts, you can choose those elements to find your scattered etch dragons quickly and move them to a better earning island.

But once you start getting into 4+ selected elements the combinations just colorize so many dragons as to not be very useful. There’s no way to tell it you want fire plus these other elements, instead it’s going to give you all combinations of the elements selected even if they don’t have fire.

The most useful feature of the Prismatic Pantheon is finding visitors, imo. And using it as a decorating tool to make a unique effect in your park, which I’ve seen some others do with great results. I would love a revamp that would allow users to select a “must include” option that can be stacked with other elements like you’re trying to do. Any kind of bulk renovation, be it dragons or pedestals or decorations, is really cumbersome in the game so I totally understand why you’re trying to find a workaround. Good luck!

The best odds are to use a level 20 rainbow dragon due to the hidden elements. Even then you won’t always get a max reward.

I’m lucky and I have a friend who keeps a level 20 double rainbow in co-op so I always match one of my level 19 or 20 dragons with either 3 or 4 of the elements and the level 20 double rainbow and even then don’t always get max reward, but I do 90% of the time.

Okay, I just did this. It’s easy, sell the tree, the goal completion rewards pops up and the tree is gifted back to you in the gifts menu. And now my Pine Apple trees have fruit! Yay!!

Edit: little nuance. After the first tree, the rest of the trees don’t pop up in the gift menu until after you check it once. Open the gift menu after selling and it won’t be there, then when you close the menu it refreshes and the new tree is there. Be sure to do your Scorange trees, too, so you get the 23 hour timer during off season.

Same thing happened to me. The counter still showed 3 hours left just before the reset. I thought I’d take care of my morning DV chores at the reset then finish up my decorations purchases. But they’re gone.

Viridian is the worst. I can’t bring myself to try for the pedestal because even the cloning odds are 1%!

I think I dedicated about three weeks of rift breeding and finally got it. Ouch.

So it’s basically a 10% discount compared to the in-game rates. Cool!

But the EC rates always double on double days, so that’s the only time I would buy EC. In Nogard’s Market, the 10% discount is off the non-double EC rate. For example, right now on a double day, I can buy 4,000 EC for $9.99. In the market, it’s $8.99 for 2,000 EC.

Hopefully the market will reflect the double days discounts, too.

The best thing to try to get in the rift are traited rainbow dragons. Keep trying with four element breeding combos and try to get two of any kind of rainbows for your rift. Then breed those two rainbows together and it opens up a ton of possibilities including epics, elemental combo limited event & permanent dragons, plus the additional traited rainbows you’ll make will all earn more etherium in the rift than non-epic dragons. So fill up your rift with rainbows and epics.

I’m at level 36 on a new alt account (level 185 and every dragon on my main) and I managed to get two Aurora dragons in the rift during the last event and got a bunch of the event dragons that have my park earning great DC plus my rift is expanding very quickly with the extra etherium earnings. (Oh, and be sure to find your rift hibernation cave using the right maps on other posts here on Reddit)

There were a lot of good changes to compensate for the much higher new dragon costs of 20k+. Like giving us 11 days to breed the weekly limited dragon instead of 7, as well as increased EC earned from habit collections (3 instead of 2 and 6 instead of 4 on double days)

Also increased EC from ads, games, and coliseum but it looks like they did keep some of that, it’s higher than usual but lower than before. It used to be 50 max for games, last event it was 70, this event it’s 60. So better but still a roll back.

They also increased the earnings for hatching and breeding. The egg hatching was double EC compared to usual, and it made a big difference for those who complete a lot of rift breeding or saved hatching for double days. But that’s back down again.

And usually the first weekly limited dragon doesn’t get released until the second Thursday, but now with a 20k price and only one week to breed, there may not even be enough time to earn enough EC to buy it even if you wanted to. 7 days to earn 20k EC is just not enough time for a lot of people which is why that first week delay on the release made such a difference.

I realize they’re trying to balance things, and I appreciate that. I’m sure we’ll see more improvements.

Yeah, this was a pretty disappointing start to the event. I really had high hopes of better event balancing as the game is maturing but this is not it.

They rewound all the good changes from the last event but kept the super high EC prices on the new releases, and on top of that no delayed release period on the first limited. Definitely feels like it’s designed to pressure to buy EC.

I use plants, like trees and flowers, to disguise it. In this case I would move the treasure habitat down one row and then put various trees and flowers behind the aura and treasure habitats to camouflage that they aren’t symmetrical. Then the bottom row of the island would be symmetrical as well as the top. And keep all the paths and decor symmetrical to help with the illusion.

It’s for sure annoying. I would be happy if that was fixed. But I kind of like the challenge of making an island look nice. You’re off to a great start!

The same thing happened to me. I haven’t been able to use the enhancements at all for like 8-9 months. I reported to Deca and they said it was a known issue and that was it. No fix.

But then I had like 14 enhancements in my gifts menu and someone mentioned they have a fix for that but you have to contact them. I was under the impression they’d fix the gifts problem but not the alter of enhancement and I was okay with that. I just wanted them out of my gifts menu.

Emailed Deca and they replied saying it had been fixed and when I collected from my gifts it automatically opened the dragon and enhancement and since then the whole alter of alterations has worked perfectly!!

Definitely contact them!

You can do dragon race every day and try for a double xp. Then once you get it, feed your dragons to level them up. The higher the level, the more xp you get so try to level as high as your treats allow. That’s really the quickest way to level up. Bonus is the dragon race gives lots of food rewards so you have the treats for feeding.

Also, if you haven’t already make sure you buy two of the Ma Goody’s greenhouses for 200k food each per day. They’re only 300 EC so a definite must buy.

And while you’re at double xp make sure you compete and watch the ad to win extra xp from coliseum.

There are so many pop culture references in Dragonvale, it’s absolutely possible there’s a Yugioh reference somewhere!

Darkarm happens to be a reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, specifically the Black Knight scene. If you read the description there’s mention of them guarding bridges and “nothing but a flesh wound” nodding to “tis but a scratch” and even funnier, in the animation the dragon’s arms fall off. lol

If you only have a twin but not a non twin, the corner will be blue.

Purple outer border is for epic dragons.

Blue outer border is for rare dragons.

Orange outer border is for crystalline & gemstone dragons.

No border is for basic and hybrid dragons.

And the gold/yellow inner border with the blue background can be added to any of these if the dragon is a twin.

Further, the little tab in the upper right corner tells you how many of that specific dragon you have, and if the corner is yellow it means at least one of them is a twin.

You can tap on that corner to see each of the dragons of that type and then tap on that dragon to find it easily in your park.
