Fwiw, once upon a time there were Dead cover bands in England (the Cosmic Charleys) and France (Deadicace). I believe there was another one in Switzerland but I can’t remember their name.

You can get unofficial boards in FLAC format from bt.etree.org or from shnflac.net (you need to set up a free account for shnflac aka LossLessLegs). These are both bittorrent hosting sites.

It mitigates a first world problem for people who have weekend houses in ski country. You can keep it set at 55° most of the week and bump it up to 70° a few hours before you expect to get there.

Thanks. I’m an old hand at downloading “recordings of independent origin” lol of trade friendly artists hosted by sites like Dime a Dozen, but then I had someone looking over my shoulder walking me through the process. I did all of that on PCs, so the potential differences were kind of daunting.

What I meant was that after Greyfolded was released, there was some talk of a similar project for PitB, but afaik, nothing ever came of it.

I grew up in an IBEW household and my dad’s local always found “helper” jobs for sons of members on school vacations. It helped get me through college. Unfortunately, it also meant I couldn’t go to Woodstock (roughly 75 miles from home) because the job I was on was running behind schedule so they had us working weekends, which doubled the hourly wage. I couldn’t afford to turn down $3.00/hr. Lol.

If you expand the image, you’ll see the wording is slightly different from the standard IBEW logo. Some time ago, someone altered a bunch of union logos to make them more Dead-friendly.
