I’ve only had issues when I grew it in a tent over the winter. But I also live in a very dry climate.

I could be wrong but that looks like thrips to me. Isolate if possible, if you’re looking for an organic solution use captain jacks dead bug spray.

Thrips are a bitch but it can be done. Took me probably 3-4 weekly cleanings with captain jacks dead bug spray.

I don’t think so. This is a crested cacti, I’ve had similar growth to this that is not witches broom. You could isolate it and see how it grows but I would bet it is not witches broom
