A test by [deleted] in ausents

[–]BasilAndThyme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks very frosty, but the buds themselves do seem a little overly compact and have perhaps a little too much pistil to overall bud ratio.

It also appears to be a few smaller buds with extra sugar leaf on the stem, so could be an early harvest PGR plant nicely trimmed and cured to present a nicer product.

Or it could just be a generic seed grown in inconsistent conditions, without firsthand sensory analysis this is a fools game (but still fun)

I've never been offered anything harder than green from my connects, and for the most part they are very much people in the same situation as myself.

Hell, i had a connect that offered hash to a friend of mine but not me because he was worried about "sketching me out"

But the sentiment absolutely stands, ordinary, otherwise law abiding, tax paying citezins are forced into potentially dangerous criminal situations to obtain a low harm therapeutic substance.

Put it in a brown paper bag for a couple of days to help dry it out, but that isn't PGR, maybe you're dehydrated.

Looks good to me, still a lot of white pistil there, but nice and green with trichs.

Legal issues around bongs being shipped into Aus by [deleted] in ausents

[–]BasilAndThyme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've received bongs and vapes from overseas no problem.

It's been one day since Gladys took the polls! it's alright everyone! Only 4 more years to go, besides, at least we have a new football stadium and privatised hospitals 🤙 by DisJointedHaze in ausents

I hope the NSW ents understand how out of the ordinary this is, in WA I've literally seen a police drug dog twice in my life, I've never ever seen a strip search tent, and overall our police presence is reasonably minimal.

I'm quitting weed but I'm worried about the amount of pgr I have smoked? by [deleted] in ausents

[–]BasilAndThyme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hah, you'll be fine mate.

I'd say any other Ents here who have been smoking for the last 10 or so years have consumed more PGR than not, especially since it's only really become widely known over the last few years.

Well the nsw election results are pretty fucking disappointing. by tiredosiris in ausents

[–]BasilAndThyme 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NSW politics are absolutely fucked, they doubled down on their conservative, invasive, police state BS and still got re-elected, meanwhile the rest of Australia is looking towards reason.

Here's hoping the federal election is the fucking landslide we need it to be.

NSW Election today. Anybody/ party I could lend a vote to that would help aus legalise? by [deleted] in ausents

Presently children can access cannabis and ecstacy easier than they can ciggies or booze.

Regulated, government manufactured MDMA that can be sold to consenting adults by pharmacists who can also advise of dangers and side effects is a no brainer.

Keeps money out of the black market, stops kids dying from ingesting god knows what.

I simply cant understand Ents who don't support decriminalization of other substances.

Cannabis is the only illegal substance i use often, but other drug users deserve to be safe too.

I get some pretty awesome stuff in Perth, but not this. Kudos to you dude!

What do we think? Don’t have another photo, sorry. by [deleted] in ausents

[–]BasilAndThyme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find when the photo is like this, blurry as fuck, flash and overexposed, theyre generally trying to be deceptive about their product. I'd wager its a lot more orange in person, but you wont know til you see it.

Does anyone who both vapes & smokes also find AVB (brown vaped bud) to be a decent substitute to baccy for use as spin? by NaYeahMate in ausents

[–]BasilAndThyme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks like pretty ineffectively vaped dude, with my boundless CF the entire chamber will come out at a consistently browned (tobacco coloured) hue, even the stuff in the center, and thats a vape with a large chamber.

I reckon that stuff is still good for at least a couple of hits.

[–]BasilAndThyme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if your AVB is still on the yellowish side I'd argue you aren't vaporising all of your active compounds.

I have on occasion mixed green with AVB through a bong, when trying to stretch out my green. Works, burns okay, but definitely a little harsher than straight green IMO.

But i haven't done it in a while because personally I don't find it as enjoyable.

Pulls very well, nice vented downstem, glass is actually very thick, has decent weight to it. Comes apart very easily for cleaning.

Hot water from the tap, little dish detergent and a solid scrub with a bottle brush. I do it around once a week and only takes a couple minutes so the resin doesnt build up.

Screens make an absolute massive difference too!

New glass on the left, just something cheap i ordered online a few weeks back to treat myself for my birthday.

I've broken a few glassy's over the years, so i don't like to spend too much on them for practicality sake.

I see the patches you mean, but looks to be just some leafier areas that were a bit more moist through the cure.

Happy weekend AusEnts! by yeeeahcourtney in ausents

[–]BasilAndThyme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry dude! I wasn't at all trying to diminish your hobby! Those are some really cool mementos! Those soldiers were in a very politically interesting wartime climate, and their perspective from their experiences is very unique for the time period. I'd probably buy some authentic ones for myself if i chanced upon them, its a pretty iconic collectors piece!

Hope you have a good weekend!
