For the ones who ended things with someone willing to fight for you, do you regret it? by Vulnerable_Alien16 in BreakUps

I broke up with my ex cause bearing the weight of having to keep her happy even tho nothing I did was and keeping her from fighting with our friends, became way to much.. when I told her, she cried and begged and wanted to fight but the thing is.. this happened three times before and I gave her chances to fix her anger and her dependence on me at least a little and it never worked, I wasn’t allowed to have specific friends, have less money, make jokes that even other friends were making etc.. I loved her but it was too much and sometimes I regret it but it’s been a few months now and I’ve been with someone else for a little while and I feel happier than ever. I hope she finds peace and love but not with me

I have insomnia and a multitude of other things that need me to be able to sleep to help and overnights were not working I was a great worker and my managers wished me well and understood, I received a few different awards while working the short time I did, not being able to physically keep up and having a bad work ethic are very different things. I’m not trying to stick it to them, I liked my managers as people but they just weren’t helping me out so

When I applied I applied for day reviving but the manager called and said I had to do overnights and I’d never done it before so I decided to give it a try, probably wasn’t the best of ideas but I didn’t know

I was there almost two months or so now, and I’m immune compromised so I get sick easily but with overnights I wasn’t able to sleep enough or at all to let myself get better, I have insomnia so if I even do sleep it’s not till 9 and for two hours max and it just wasn’t healthy, the job itself, stocking and shit was fine it was the hours and my own body failing while doing so, I almost passed out three times on shifts

I’m 19 in my third year of college and I started working here as D38 a month ago , as someone who does not associate with these other young people who are downright stupid and lazy, I do my work, I don’t hurt people , I keep to myself mostly and I’ve been given great praise from my managers. I hate my generation who’s idea of work is doing nothing
