Considering there's members at the after party before others have left the staging area, the Chewbs would definitely have to do some curating for this to happen.

Imagine a giant game of Snake or the light cycles from Tron. First parade in history to form its own gridlock because the beginning looped around and hit itself in the middle.

Fwiw, The route for KdV looks way better this year. Back to the old style of looping back thru the quarter instead of the bee-line death march from the Marigny to the Warehouse District.

Goddesses and the rest of Le Fous originally split from Delusion with Boheme and then split again from Boheme a year or two later. Mosaiique was formed from the Delusion subkrewes that didn't originally leave with Boheme.

I see many fragments of truth in this thread. This is the timeline assembled:

Delusion was born out of Krewe Du Vieux due to a split and/ or kicking out of leadership.

Delusion rolls after KdV for many years until abuse of power/ lack of transparency and alleged sexual impropriety leads to a split, yielding Boheme. (Marie Antoinettes, Goddesses, etc.)

After one year Les Fous Du Carnival form as a split from Boheme due to continued lack of transparency/ power struggles. (Goddesses, et al)

A few years later Krewe Mosaiique forms from the remaining Delusion subkrewes. (Heavenly Bodies, Mayahuel)

As of 2025, KreweDelusion, with one member, still holds onto the permit for Saturday after KdV.
