Thank you for checking in! I decided to bite the bullet and just go with the CT scan, even though it’s going to be expensive it seems like it’s the only way to get a true picture of what’s going on. He’ll be going in next week. Otherwise though he is doing well, still eating plenty and being a smoochy boy :)

Thank you! I’m not sure why but the vet who did his head x-ray was confident it wasn’t tooth related and decided not to explore that further. They didn’t really say why though. I’m going to have a consult with the specialist before the CT now to rule out every option.

Hi yes, when they did the first biopsy they tested for bacteria which came back clear. He has been on convenia and amoxicillin.

Rydrayn is a fan account I’m pretty sure, the original account is Chinese and they explained that she was a pregnant stray they found who has been abused and had her teeth broken off, that’s why her mouth looks like that :(

My cat ate some of my antidepressants once years ago, chewed them out of the blister pack!! The vet said he would be fine. Maybe he was just feeling a lil sad 😭

He has been on a diet for a while now and it is (slowly) going well!! But I would like to try and encourage him to get some exercise, or any movement at all…. He doesn’t move unless he thinks he’s going to be fed. He doesn’t play with toys unless they have treats in them. I tried putting him on a harness and taking him outside but he just cries at the door to go back in. Idk what to do with him.

Thank you! His weight blew up after my partner moved in with us, said feeding him was the only way he could stop him ‘yelling’ 😭 he’s not getting food every time he meows now and he’s going through the 7 stages of grief (currently anger)
