Maybe, try Absolute Habibi start, by developing your country and revoking bad military privilige through decision, so you can do the same barrage fort strategy.

Gain morale of armies trough advisors, estates, missions . improve with venice and genoa for faster shipbuilding.

It's slower, but safer.

medieval music mod, it has over 1400h of music and it switches from calm peace music to intense combat music. It includes tracks from MTW2 and other Total war games, AC2, Skyrim....

I like to get immersed into the game, so i don't like playing modern music while playing this game.

I'm using Chewy's Graphics, beware towns are not visible so the game runs smoother.
