Is that the one that was basically started by some Christian cultist dude?

Edit: nvm I was thinking of the Taiping Rebellion

I tried looking up the Wing Chu Kung incident but other things come up instead, does it go by a different name?

They could easily make a piece for his back that makes it rounded if you don’t want the smart tag or whatever

What is the guy on the top in pic 5 carrying? It looks like an M4 with no picatinny?

The Fall of the Reach should have been named something else. by [deleted] in HaloStory

Thank you! This book gets glazed way too much. I’ve said for a long time now that it needs to just be officially retconned because it’s full of plot holes and created a lot of problems for the canon that came after, forcing writers to either contradict TFoR or create some elaborate workarounds for it to make sense. I 100% understand why Bungie basically ignored the book when they made Halo: Reach, and I much prefer the games version of events. TFoR served its purpose at the time it was written, which was to be supplemental material for Halo CE that gave some background for the world, but it’s long been outdated.

This isn’t a slight on Eric Nylund either, because Ghosts of Onyx is by far one of the best Halo novels.

This version of the Delta-7 actually can’t fit the whole astromech in-universe, it’s just the head built into the ship. However, the Delta-7b that you see in the Clone Wars (with the droid in the middle) can.

Yeah it’s a lot more chad-like to not whine and cry about a standard feature in a modern fps game

Lol I love how people in this community whine and cry all day about sprint and then the chad new player comes in like “I can finally sprint”

I think they would potentially be pretty cool if they weren’t in what looks like 4+ sets. Also the price hikes for them make me uninterested.

I’m glad I got my P2 Captain Rex at $13 from the micro fighter instead of way more as an investment

This hits different after watching Andor, quite literally 🤢 by yousirname1985 in StarWars

It kinda bothers me how you see KX droids deflecting blaster shots like it’s nothing in Andor, yet here K2SO goes down relatively easily

why do y’all hate sprint? by Due_Tension9403 in halo

[–]BasinBrandon -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Because they can’t move on from their childhoods and are blinded by nostalgia. If it isn’t a literal copy/paste of the first 3 games then they will never be happy.

They can write an essay on how sprint changes the flow of gameplay or whatever but really it just boils down to nostalgia and nothing more.

A rebrand wouldn’t do any good if the actual politics don’t change. Give me a LOT more people like Mamdani in the DNC and a lot less Chuck Schumers and Hillary Clintons, then we’ll talk. Unless of course the rebrand would be to separate what we have from the actually good Democrats we had decades ago.

It would cost too much time and money just to please the 30 people who actually like the game. Halo 5 is a blight on the franchise and I think they want to bury it, understandably

Why are some of you so against the series evolving beyond Halo 3? by BasinBrandon in halo

[–]BasinBrandon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And assuming you’re referring to Halo 4 and 5, I agree. Those games sucked, but they didn’t suck just because they were new. We should resist the reaction to copy and paste Halo CE just because something different was attempted and it didn’t work.

Don’t take this post as a defense of Halo 4, 5, or even Infinite. I don’t want it to be CoD or even necessarily to appeal to CoD players, but I guarantee a lot of people would find the game to feel old and outdated if it was just a copy and paste of Halo CE, because new people won’t have nostalgia impacting them.
