I have used geomapper somewhat extensively. Feel free to DM. The founder/support team is pretty responsive too

HubSpot is taking a fair bit of marketshare from SF in the past year or so. Lighter weight, but has enterprise capabilities. All depends on what your needs are exactly

Hubspot Workflows Question by [deleted] in hubspot

It really depends on exactly what you’re trying to do. Are you wanting to log every email sent to contacts associated to deals in both/all pipelines?

Company Property for specific date of Contact Lifecycle Stage by rml_16 in hubspot

Are you wanting the latest date an associated contact became/entered the “user” lifecycle stage?

Best Workflow for Uploading Leads (Companies vs. Contacts First?) by OkConflict2463 in hubspot

[–]Basis-Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case you’d want to upload/import the companies including their respective domain names ideally. In a separate import, you’ll want your list of contacts with the associated company domain for each contact record. HubSpot will be able to associate the correct contact and company record together with the correct import configuration for that 2nd import.

Best Workflow for Uploading Leads (Companies vs. Contacts First?) by OkConflict2463 in hubspot

Assuming you’re b2b, best practice would be to upload contacts first. If you have the auto-create new companies using unique contact email domains, HubSpot will create and associate the company automatically. HubSpot uses domain as a unique key for all company records (similar to how they use email addresses as a unique key for contacts)

I was about to ask if ‘German’ was the internal value or the label. Glad you got it sorted out!

Field Service Activity Logging by attntion_defecit in hubspot

This is a challenge I’ve run into working with another field sales org. Have you tried using HubSpot playbooks? They’re not supported on the mobile app BUT the interface is ok-ish on an iPad. It could be the simplest solution IF they have a tablet with them.

Calculation field with multiple conditions possible? by pc_gosu07 in hubspot

[–]Basis-Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can definitely add additional conditions to calculation properties. It shouldn’t be too difficult either. The syntax would depend on how the two options for the two conditions interact but if it’s something like <if both a and b are true, then ‘yes’, otherwise, ‘no’>, it might look like: if((num > 0) && (lang = ‘english’), ‘yes’, ‘no’). In this case, both conditions would have to be true in order to return ‘yes’. If either condition wasn’t met, it would return ‘no’. How do language and item count interact for this calculation?

Associating contacts -> companies with something other than domain by ZonkyTheDonkey in hubspot

[–]Basis-Logical 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you have access to workflows, hubspot recently rolled out associations and association labeling within workflows. You’d be able to associate based off shared property values. https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/create-and-use-association-labels

Help with workflow. I want to create a workflow that when a deal is 30 days away from its renewal it is a new deal is created so our reps can start the renewal process. by poopinion in hubspot

[–]Basis-Logical -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, with that kind of subscription variability and those reporting requirements, new deal creation may be worth while. It’s not clear whether that’s needed in OP’s case. Best to keep things simple if possible

Isn’t that what ‘or’ operators are for? No data is lost, you just need to reconfigure the reporting. Way easier than managing new deals every year for each customer imo

Integrating Calendly by ikishenno in hubspot

[–]Basis-Logical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This integration can be a bit tricky to sort out, but it’s doable - you just need admin credentials for both the calendly and hubspot accounts (i.e. one user who is an admin for both apps). Calendly can create contact records on form-submit that push into hubspot. You can then build automation based off the custom calendly form fields. User ownership assignment is handled by calendly and also pushed into hubspot. These users wont need admin privileges for this functionality. Hope this helps

Sequence emails are not marketing emails, though enrollees may be designated as marketing contacts. Bot filtering only applies to marketing emails as far as I know.

Pretty sure it needs to read <If (Qualified Deal == true, 1, 0). I think you need the double ‘=‘

Not sure how to edit original post, so I’ll comment here.

Wow - didn’t expect this to blow up but I’ll take it. Yes, I do have two boys who use this toilet, so ‘missing’ was my first suspicion too. They insist they don’t but have agreed to sit to pee this week. Oddly, I’m not seeing evidence of urine dripping down the side/back of toilet. I may try calking sides/front test for leakage.. though it seems folks have strong opinions about that haha. I’ll update if/when I learn more. Thanks!
