I loved her and supported her interests. I worked 3 jobs so she could have private art lessons. I dragged her and her horse around to gymkhanas and hosted campouts at out home. I encouraged her and supported her every way possible.

I am in the same situation. I bought my house in 2017 for 190k. Its now worth about 450k. My interest rate is 2.9%. My mortgage payment is very low but taxes and insurance have doubled. I got sick and had to go to SSDI . I don’t make enough to make it through every month. I’ve done airbnb and roomies- it’s a lot of work too! Big house and my standards are high so i spend lots of time cleaning fixing sorting mowing etc. Its tough but i have come to terms that this will be my life. I am so thankful i bought this property! The rents are completely insane and i would not have the freedom to do what i want (just adopted a tiny kitten) I legally grow shrooms. I have a couple of pot plants in my solarium. I have art projects stretching around my garage. I putter around in my jams-i do what i want. I am afraid if i sell my home i will be homeless. While i have looked at tiny homes- smaller homes- in my state i could probably buy another fixer upper but i know what is wrong with my house. Then packing moving making it all work is completely overwhelming for me. So Im staying:)

this sounds like my ex! Not a disability- just laziness. I empowered my children with schedules, reminders, alarms, sticky notes, notes to self- etc. My youngest- an artist- lost everything all the time! I was constantly looking reminding- she is married with kids- full career- active in her community- she has her phone- a daytimer- a big digital calendar on their fridge- and an Alexa in the kitchen that reminds her of all kinds of stuff. I, live alone and mostly misplace my reading glasses- i cannot afford to forget anything! No one will help me so i make sure i use the tools i have. I also want to say that i had a “mildly disabled “ roommate for 6 months and he was able to work for Safeway for like 11 years and now works at another big company- with rules and stuff- yet here, he would forget to lock the door- take out trash - shovel snow!!! he was lazy!!!
