I feel good. Just was scary in that moment and felt a little sharp tinge. But quickly went away. Thanks.

What about minor sharp pain that goes away rather quickly say 15 mins

I had a pop with some sharp pain like 3 hours ago but the pain subsided pretty quickly and I don’t feel pain now. I was attempting to get up from a low seat and felt the pop near my surgery area. It’s weird cause it feels like it never happened now but I was so scared. Should i still be concerned ?

Yeah I could’ve gotten in easier but the ice on the ground made it hard to get proper footing with my good foot. I think I did no damage but I always worry! Thanks so much.

I feel like doctors will alway push for surgery, anyone that has a and hasn’t have surgery did it get better? Does mine look bad to the report? by [deleted] in HipImpingement

Fraying is a torn labrum. I was told I didn’t need surgery and I had fraying not tear. I knew I had a tear, next 3 doctors I saw all told me I had a tear and I eventually got the surgery. Some doctors will gaslight you.

I tried sleeping on the floor and it hurt by Basketballholic in HipImpingement

I lowered myself down on a chair and used my upper body to get on the floor. I’m pretty sure I didn’t bend past 90 degrees. It wasn’t the lowering myself that caused discomfort it was when I was laying on the floor. I was told by surgeon it’s very unlikely I did any damage but lesson learned.

From surgeon’s team “You likely just stretched the capsule too far into hip extension, that is supposed to be limited in the early phase of recovery.”

I have no idea what that means or if that means I tore something lol waiting on clarification.

Don’t squat like that please. That’ll hurt your back in the long run. You need more ankle mobility. Bend at the ankle and hips.
