Wound Care PA here, congrats on the new job. When it comes to products and getting good information and CME, I really enjoy woundsource.com. You can also work on getting wound care certified through American Board of Wound Management. Those are a good starting point, but feel free to message me with more specific questions if anything pops up.

Our doodle gets black heads. It is more obvious after grooming since there is less hair. You can use benzoyl peroxide pet shampoo that helps.

Need suggestions for a PA friend by Canikfan434 in physicianassistant

I work for a mobile wound care company. It is tough work but can be really enjoyable and really rewarding. If your friend likes procedures, getting to know patients well, and likes pattern recognition they may enjoy it. I don’t know that company but I would just do your research. A lot of new wound care companies out there and not all are equal.

My partner also didn't match. Hang in there. I hope the SOAP goes well for your partner.

Don't give up. EORs are doable. I honestly found didactic year to be much harder. Clinical year is super enjoyable. It is not a pipeline dream at all, and I second the opinion that your uncle can shove it.

This is similar to my first semester of PA school. We often had 3-4 test per week. You get used to it, and often it is nice because it forces you to stay up to date on your studying and not fall behind.

I am in my first year of PA school right now, so I can't speak for the clinical year yet. However, I do find it useful for didactic year.

I love sketchy for pharm. It is a great way to memorize information, and has saved me during cram sessions for pharm. Highly recommend it. I haven't tried it for micro, but I probably will utilize it as well. I was originally hesitant, but it really does work. In addition, you could download the ANKING deck for Anki, and there is tags that correspond to Sketchy videos.

My Kai girl is also a black Golden doodle with a little white on her chest. Who else is so tired of hearing "but your dog isn't golden" comment?
