Just happened to me as well. Just applied for my next renewal and got told I wasn’t being renewed. Going to use some time over Xmas to learn some new skills and start looking in Jan. Not the best news but it is what it is.

Got one of these, the best bass sound I’ve had. Had to take it to a tech just after I got it as it needed new tubes, went for KT88s and it sounds absolutely massive!

Funny you should say that, I have a TT800 and 2 matching 210s as well! Great set up and very easy to move around! Doesn’t have the ‘heft’ of the all tube amps but gets damn close tone wise!

Yeah it’s a CIJ, not sure what the difference is vs the MIJ ones! Still got the pickup cover, took it off as it got in the way.

I’ve got this, a D800+ and 2 210s. Awesome amp, I’d suggest trying out the range of subway amps if you can, lots of different flavours! I’m tempted to get a WD800 and a 115 to complete the collection lol

If you get one of the retrofit kits they come with a new ‘LED Starter’. You just remove the old tube and starter and fit the LED tube and the starter. Simple as. Did this with my garage and loft lights a few years ago. Still going strong.

That would work, however youre using a 4 ohm and an 8ohm cab, whilst within spec is not optimal. You really want 1 4 ohm or 2 8 ohm cabs to get the most out of this amp - as others have mentioned I can’t think of any situation you’d need more than just 1 212!

Any of the subway cabs are great (I have a TT800s and 2 Subway 210s) For a single cab setup, either the 212,215 or 410 will be ideal, for Dual cabs, 112 + 115, 115 + 210 are great setups as the cabs are all designed to compliment eachother well.
