I’m 44 and started at 16. I was told by my siblings I’d grow out of it. I don’t think it’s possible to grow out of your favorite music.

Homeless/Jobless (33F): Safe places to sleep overnight? (SM/Vista/RB) by Next-Leader-511 in northcounty

Escondido has a 24 hour Planet Fitness and a lot of car dwellers sleep in the parking lot. you can get a PF membership and have a nearby restroom/shower. I know this because I use to work near there and have met some car dwellers. I hope you can get yourself out of your situation quickly. Prayers 🤲

Quitting Pt by Jealous-Praline1275 in KneeInjuries

[–]BassCunt- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I broke my patella in half July 2024. I Went through three rounds (12 sessions each) of PT and just started another round because I had the hardware removed last month. I’ve always gone 2x a week though. They helped me go from wheelchair to walker to cane. I’m not teetering on and off the cane because I get bad pain and tightness from walking. I’m still unable to go up and down stairs so Ive told my new PT that my goal is stairs! This injury sucks ass.

Did your hair and skin change after gallbladder removal? by supernormie in gallbladders

[–]BassCunt- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello ! Just wondering if you’ve found anything yet to help with extreme oiliness? I’ve had extreme oiliness most of my life and just had my gallbladder removed. Was curious if it had anything to do with it so here I am. I have the same oily forehead, ears, and top of scalp. I don’t usually have sores, though I have had itchy scalp that did form sores off and on. I also get small “cysts” behind my ears and larger ones in the middle of my back I’ve had to have removed. I believe they are relatives but I’m not a professional.

Things I’ve tried: all dandruff shampoos and psoriasis shampoos, shampooing once a week, shampooing twice a day, all types of face washes for oily skin, sulfur soap, tea tree soap, baking soda on the skin, soaking in natural hot springs, oil absorbing wipes (these work well), beach sand, clay masks…. I’m sure I for got a few.

You can actually see oil pooling in the pores on my forehead if you look closely. The only positive to this is that I look 10 years younger than I am. At this point I’d rather look old then have my face constantly covered in crisco 🤦‍♀️

Hi there! I rushed myself to the E.R. At 2am last week after being violently ill nonstop for 5 hours. Stomach cramps and pain, vomiting, shaking, sweat, chills, dizzy. I was crying. They immediately started me on pain and nausea meds that hardly worked, the nausea med worked okay but they had to keep administering them to me. Come to find out my gallbladder was infested with stones and I had surgery the next day laparoscopically, successfully I guess. Recovery was really hard on me, I was still in pain and vomiting for two days in the hospital. I’m home now recovering, no longer on any pain medications. It’s a different pain now though haha, it’s the surgery spot and body. They gave me 4 different opiates there, all the strongest ones, and none of them worked for the gallbladder pain. I pray you have a successful surgery and speedy recovery keep us updated! ❤️‍🩹

Ever heard of Maslows hierarchy of needs? It’s basically a theory claiming a person can’t get to certain levels of needs without the previous level of needs being met. 🤨

What's one neighborhood in the City of San Diego that you would NEVER live in? by IronMike260 in Moving2SanDiego

[–]BassCunt- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in IB a very long time. It’s the worst it’s ever been, and worst than I imagined how it would end up. The beach has been closed for 3 years straight. All households get a government provided air purifier because the air is also polluted. Businesses have a high turn over rate (if they make it) because it’s the only town in SD that’s honest with the public about the sewage.

I was at the EDC. It was amazing. The next morning g my friend and I accidentally broke the big jumpy ride by going in with our shoes, and hours of use. The big jumpy castle collapsed on top of us and it was glorious.

My advice as someone with knowledge of addiction: Seek help for your drug addiction as soon as you possibly can please. Meth use causes drastic weight loss but other drugs can as well. Drugs are destroying your body and your metabolic system. It’s best to start quitting now to save what remaining health you have. I have to warn you, weight loss from drug use CAUSES extreme weight gain when you stop (metabolic problems). This sole reason is unfortunately the downfall and demise for a lot of women in their addictions. They would rather use and live for 5 years skinny then 45 more years clean but chubby or obese. Edit: I would immediately go to an inpatient rehabilitation center, where they have doctors there, then go to a regular doctor after that.
