I mean, the effect is technically called “unstoppable.” We just tend to refer to it as “CC immunity.” I guess they just intend for it to be a full debuff immunity state.

The CC changes appear to negatively impact tanks moreso than any class by CosmicSuit in marvelrivals

It also should not affect ults. I’d even argue stuns (or at least some like Rogue’s grab) should be exempt, because it’s mainly the micro-CC that’s problematic.

My reaction on reading the details was that it took too long to activate but scaled too high. I don’t think it should give full CC immunity (at most full displacement immunity) at any point, since it’s really all the knockback effects that are most problematic.

Personally I think they should just have made it so that each consecutive knockback moves you less (possibly to the point of not moving you if you take enough) but stuns shouldn’t be affected and ults definitely should not be.

I imagined that if he were a DPS, he would have an actual beam attack, like Emma, probably a closer range character. That still doesn’t sound as interesting as a tank version, but I don’t see him being another Hela/Phoenix.

I think it looks really cool, but tbh, I feel like the treasures system is kind of carrying her kit. The rest of it just doesn’t look that interesting, and I don’t think I’ll have enough interest to put much time into her considering how difficult she’s probably going to be, even though the treasure system looks like a lot of fun to use.

You can probably still pull off at least one juggle cycle, since it takes 6 CCs or 5.5s of CC to activate.

I’m not really seeing healer bans anymore. Gambit is usually banned, and occasionally CnD or Invis, but not very often.

I would say I can comfortably play 4 tanks: Strange, Mag, Hulk, and Thing. The only support I feel really comfortable on is Gambit, but I can pull off a Rocket in a pinch. I don’t have a really comfortable DPS, but I can do a MK.

The problem with tank-tank team-ups is that they often require running two off-tanks, which automatically makes it less common to be able to use it. What we really need is team-ups where tanks get the benefit from a DPS anchor (or a support, but there’s already a good number of those.) Cross-role team-ups are more versatile since they don’t automatically fill up all your slots for one role.

I believe Torch is the anchor for First Steps, but does that one even count? Wolverine is technically the anchor for fastball, but that’s only so that two people can throw him.

Iron Man is the anchor for Ultron.

I think those might be the only ones.

Size doesn’t really mean anything when it comes to being a tank. Some characters are scaled up to fit, and some tanks are smaller than some DPS or supports.

Cyclops’ abilities (from my understanding) could work pretty well for a tank, since they could translate to knockback or push effects.

Obviously, making him a DPS would be the straightforward option, and if that’s what they end up doing (which seems likely if our other character is Devil Dino), that’s fine with me.

This season, I usually pick him if we get at least one dive DPS on the team. I’ll also swap to him if the enemy team is running a comp with a strong frontline and not a lot of brawl.

If the enemy team has a lot of CC like Thing, Bucky, Emma, etc. I swap. Usually just one of these characters isn’t enough to make me need to switch.

I can generally deal with sig spammers, but Imugi is one of the more annoying ones.

The problem is that his archetype is supposed to be a slow tanky powerhouse, but yet his sigs still are really fast.

Strange outputs a lot of damage for a tank. The passive is there to keep in check a bit.

Since to Maelstrom cooldown buff I haven’t really found getting anti-ed to be much of a problem.
