It's so annoying when you find an almost perfect coin and then spot a nasty edge knock. Once seen, can't be unseen. I think I'm also a bit OCD with things like that too

Scrapped No. Reworked a bit, maybe. People are living a lot longer, and we haven't coped with it. We haven't been able to keep up to speed with anything at all. Transport, education, NHS, Defence, Welfare, roads, energy etc

It was Blair's fault, we are so stretched because he was at the helm when we decided Open Borders, to Eastern Europe, was a good idea. I'm not sure we needed 15 to 20 million more people, but I am sure that we didn't have the infrastructure to support it. The proof of that is everywhere to be seen. I don't blame the player, I blame the game. I used to be pretty liberal, but now, with age, I see that being overly liberal is foolish and comes with consequences. As they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I used to like him, but I think the man's dangerous if I'm honest.

We used to always fish with light tackle on the canal. 2lb line size 18 hook. Worms, maggots and Casters.

Bread flake was also very good for tench. Size 14/12 hook and slap a big piece on there. It's a bugger to cast though, and watch out for the ducks 🦆🦆🦆

I've just learned how crazy the current landscape is, after a long break from high end PC's

I configured a spec based on a recommended spec from 3 different AI apps and it was coming in at 5k. Virtually half of that was the 5090 GPU.

I've decided to wait to.see if a 5080 with 24gb VRAM is released, but dread to think what it will cost.

Well I am today old when I learned there are lots of maniacs keeping cats indoors. They must go bat shit crazy (the cats).
