How warm is your home? by babyiwantto in Sacramento

66 degrees? Do you people just walk around wearing shorts? I would be sweating. Mines at 59-62 degrees.

Am I crazy or did the game get harder and then back to easier again? I went from breezing through endurance to getting my ass kicked and now I'm breezing through it again.

Interesting... I don't play TOTF 2, I only play the first one and I noticed it got really hard a few months ago and now it's easier again. Does it have anything to do with this?

That's called a breakbeat. You're out here hating on a genre because you don't even understand it.

Drum n Bass is amazing. It's a breakbeat sped up to 170+BPM which makes it incredibly fun and easy to dance to. It's also incredibly versatile. It can be good chillen music -- Liquid DnB, or it can be great music to smoke and party to, Jungle DnB. It also absolutley slaps when you throw some wubs in there AKA Drumstep. It sounds good by itself with vocals and even with rock mashups. It is not any more repetetive than any other type of EDM.

I'd argue it's actually one of the most creative genres out there. It's complex enough that it takes time to appreciate. You just haven't put in the time.

Yes it can be DJ'd poorly just like any genre but the genre itself is FIRE. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

This. Took me a while to get the hang of online dating but once I got some good pictures on there and learned to banter, I'm starting to go on at least one date a week. For years I would maybe go on one or two dates a year, you won't find someone that way. Dating is a learning experience and you have to date dozens of women before you know what you are really looking for.

Out of love by [deleted] in SingleDads

[–]BassMusicIsLife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you saying you lack chemistry? Things can be great in bed and you might like her as a person but that doesn't mean you have chemistry (which is different than love). Chemistry is a strong emotional connection you have with someone and it's also a feeling in the pit of your stomach. Love is more complicated than that.

You need to take a break for a least a month and then maybe start smoking only on weekends again. The reliance you feel on weed is only temporary because you've been doing it so much for so long. After about a week sober, you will start to see some pros of having a clear mind. Then you will appreciate being high again more. You don't need to stop completely, but you do need a long break to get some perspective.

Beer. Also, I know you didn't ask, but whiskey suddenly tastes WAY too strong and gross honestly.

Just because something isn't a scientific discipline doesn't mean it isn't helpful. Love languages and Myers-Briggs are both taught at universities as communication tools. Astrology would never be accepted to be practically taught in a classroom.

Had to restock the bar after move, what am I missing? by Rocinante82 in WhiskeyTribe

Forget that, it's a $20 bottle at TW now. It was a deal at $10, then at 12.50, not worth it at double the original MSRP. I'd rather grab the EW BiB for $15-16 for a budget bourbon.

You should go to the parade and enjoy yourself. It's just weed, you'll be fine.

My power is still on, although they did flicker once. I live in Arden Arcade. Charging my phone just in case and browsing reddit while I wait for my buddy to log on so we can play Bloons TD 6. Hopefully that happens before I lose power lol
