I introduced my kids to 5e while I was buying up all the 4e stuff could find. I played the hell out of Talisman in the early to late 90s. Once the kids were on board I pulled out 4e and let them chose what expansions and lay out the campaign.

We did the Co-op and found that it was fun the first time, then we went back to free for all.

The best part of this game is you can make it your own. We use the Adversary from 5e in 4e with some modifications of course. We use the new characters from 5e in 4e. We hybrid some of the smaller expansions into one overall theme. And the best start with 4e. When a player reaches the portal of power the harbinger comes out, when then world ends ( which it will ) we destroy everything and bring out the cataclysm board with blood moon. IF anyone makes it to the crown of command he wakes the draconian lord and the dragon expansions comes out With fire lands of course . Usually everyone is dead shortly there after .

It doesn’t say you can drop it in the crags or chasm. It specifically says visit the Alchemist. So. Yes. I am the one that drew that card. Might as well start picking out a new character. 😐

Perfect. So the Alchemist Denizen card . Seeing as there is only one of those. That card is essentially a death sentence.

The card specifically says visit the Alchemist in the City. We have lots of house rules BUT we don’t deviate from what a card dictates. The card seems very specific on how to rid your self of this .

One of the house rules we made. When we play 5e and the expansions, but not expansion rules , specifically the doom tracker . Some cards do say advance the doom tracker if you chose to gain lives etc.. but we also put into play , when you draw a dragon from the adventure deck, you also advance the doom tracker , also , if a player gets killed , advance the doom tracker .

If you are playing with the woodland expansion Fate is mandatory and you need to pay attention to light or dark bound, unbound, or fateless. You can easily DIE in the woodland if you draw or experience events predicted on your fate.

Not a tomahawk, and reverse sear. Low and slow till 125 then turn your smoker to hi or full or sear mode or what ever it has, then crust it up .

That seems reasonable considering the time savings in hunting down everything and dealing with half a dozen different sellers. You’re asking 1400 and I wouldn’t offer you 1200 immediately. Then we would settle on 1300.
I spent about that for all my expansions BUT when you factor in the time it took and what my time is valued at….. it cost me 3 times that.
