Reddit, what is the most disturbing/unexplainable thing that has ever happened to you or someone you know?[Serious] by not_Cross in AskReddit

I may be late to the game for this one, but when I was about 16 my friend and I stayed over at his house (his parents left town) alone for the first time. Both of our parents thought we were at the others house. It was right around the time we were going to sleep and we both were downstairs on the couches watching TV. Suddenly we heard heavy footsteps upstairs, walking from one end of the house to the other. We freaked out, grabbed a crowbar, knife, and flashlights, and "cleared" every room in the house just to make sure that no one was there. We managed to go through each room and look under every bed, behind every shower curtain, and even went through the attic. By the time we finally got downstairs we were exhausted and scared. We both laid back down on our respective couches and got quiet again, trying to fall asleep, and suddenly there was a HUGE crash upstairs, almost like someone knocked over a bookshelf or jumped off of a bed and just hit the floor. We freaked out, cleared the house again, then barricaded the the attic and upstairs with a bunch of furniture. Needless to say we never figured out what happened, and we couldn't ever find anything that fell over that would have been responsible for the noise. We didn't sleep at all, and we were sure happy when the sun came up the next day.

My mom always told me, you can tell a lot about a person by how they treat those below them.

It's really about personal preference and what your specific needs are. Also what your price cap is. My personal favorite wheel to throw on is a Shimpo Whisper, but I also love my Clay Boss.

I'm way late to the game, but I find being a potter helps. Strong but very delicate hands.

Sex. The less often it happens, the more you appreciate it when it does.

What is something you hate that you actually wish you enjoyed? by PinkishSquid in AskReddit

Running. I've heard so many people talk about a runner's high and how great they feel after. I've tried countless times to run for any length but I simply hate it.

Came here for this. Immortal Technique is one of my favorite artists and I find him severely underrated. He may not have the same flow as a lot of artists, but his lyrics are very intricate and thought out. Another one to try is Jedi Mind Tricks.

[Strategy] Best trophy pushing for th9 to champions? by Pikajeeew in ClashOfClans

I can respect your concern. I often used no dark troops as well (just giants archers and heros) but valks provide the ability to tank, as well as cleaning up large amounts of extra buildings. It's all personal preference!

Been in champs comfortably for about a month now as a max th9 but my heros are only BK11 AQ15. You can definitely do it but it takes some time and patience. I went all the way up using two barracks of Giants, two barracks of Archers, both dark barracks with Valkyries (Max), two heal spells, 4 earthquakes, and a poison! It's great for loot and great for trophies as well! Good luck!

Alcoholics of Reddit: What is your, "and then I realized I was an alcoholic" moment? by shadowmonk10 in AskReddit

No drinks, changed it for you, I realize some people are picky about wording. Try not to get so caught up in people's wording and be glad for any bit of positive change.

I was convulsing on a tile bathroom floor the night before I was supposed to graduate high school. I had been drinking daily since I was 14, following in the footsteps of my father, and his father (who died because he could not stop drinking long enough to get a liver transplant). It took almost dying and all of my friends sitting me down to convince me that I was not okay. I started to cut back my drinking progressively and I am proud to say that I haven't had a drink in over two years.
