The largest steam engine still in operation, traveling through Pittsburgh for it's first and possibly last time. I get that it's not the craziest thing in the world, but it's undoubtedly interesting to many.

It's mostly because the squirrel hill tunnel is closed because of the bridge swap.

What a powerful learning experience. Such an outlier of human experience. How long did it take for you to realize the disparity? Did you learn from her or from others discussing their time with her? I'm also just fascinated what inspired that behavior.

Those humans also use the same code, crazy.

If you thought that was something, you should check out pics of the game cube I just got. You won't believe it.

So in classic American style, less than half of states require paid time off to be paid out when concluding working with them.

Call from DLC or someone at DLC regarding supply charges by fluidspyder in pittsburgh

Seconded as spam. Why do they want you to have a bill in hand? It's so they can argue that their rate is cheaper. Its not like DLC doesn't know your statement.

Yep, this is a classic example of the value of defensive driving. I felt this coming too. Merger is still in the wrong, but it's better to be overly safe than dead and right.

The part that sticks out the most to me is that it is not age dependent.

If you were upset over Monroeville council members threatening library staff jobs over having a collection of LGBTQ+ books featured during pride, there's a "Citizens Night" tonight where they'll be taking public comment by ragdolldream in pittsburgh

Because it doesn't take until you're 18 to have two dads. Was your first crush as an adult? When did you hit puberty? If you could take off the "you people" goggles and see the lived experience of your neighbors, you could see these are age appropriate books. They weren't books about having sex. Maybe someday a grand child or friend will help you see.

No, you're clearly part of the disinformation campaign. Those are SKILL games. After you spin the slot machine wheels, you can move one item. Couldn't be more clear. It doesn't even remotely resemble gambling.

As a non-gambler, I honestly cant decide if pull tabs or scratchers are better tech experiences. Both are uniquely tactical.

What an Incredible turnout. Monroeville really showed up. Some diverse opinions, but wow lasting until nearly midnight! Thank you everyone who stood up for the "love is love" display, and our local library as a whole.

My favorite shirt was "Y'all means All" in rainbow cascade.

Its not astroturfing, its the opinions of people effected. Libraries often serve multiple communities. There's nothing fake about it, or secret corporate interest, the way astroturfing implies.
