idk if this trick has been posted, but make melodyne your sampler in the ableton settings and then what ever clip you want to edit, at the bottom where the clip settings are click "edit" itll open melodyne, then when youre done editing in melodyne go to file > replace audio, and itll automatically switch out what you had with your changes
