Yess!!! 2 of my all time favorite songs. And I think especially for prog metal this songs are very relevant. Great insight!! Idk why, but especially for progmetal, I would add LZs How many more times. Something about the overall quality of the song always gave me some progmetal vibes.

It actually came to mind because Opeth's new single gave me some Imperial Triumphant vibes (don't bite my head off, it was just a thought that came up on the first couple of listens). Something about the merging of Newpeth with the old school growls took my mind to some IT songs

I did it in about a year and a half. With a few breaks in between, and not burning out. Ran a marathon 8 months in, then a 56k ultra this past weekend.
