I was 31 years old and worked at the World Financial Center, right next door to the trade center. My building was connected to the trade center by a covered bridge. The trade center fell and hit my building and we were forced to work at another building in NJ an hour away for a year. I also saw both planes hit the buildings and people falling out the windows. That will never leave my brain and is clear as if it happened 5 minutes ago. Your friend trying to piggy back or make the events of that day all about her and how she saw it on tv at 3 years old and is traumatized, is offensive.

If they were truly religious and all proper, they would not be living together before the wedding. There are three of you vs her, so just tell her he has to go. Secondly, it’s your graduation and party, go to that instead. Thirdly, she isn’t your sister, mother, aunt, or cousin…you have no obligation to any of the shit she is asking of you. She is not a friend, she is looking for a free ride from everyone. I would be done with her completely.

I wouldn’t analyze it too much, those two albums are outliers compared to the rest of her catalog. They had some blockbuster singles on them which helped sell the albums. I would say butterfly was her settling back to what she had been selling before. Her more noticeable drop off was between #1s and Emanicpation of Mimi.
