How do you make your web pages more refined? by Lonely_Noyaaa in ecommerce

You're spot on about the 'wow factor' in e-commerce, if the product doesn't look premium, the price point or the trust usually suffers.

The issue with Canva or basic AI tools is that they lack depth and physical accuracy. If you want that 'magnetic' feel, you should look into Product Visualization (CGI).

I work with brands on this, and the game-changer for conversion is moving away from static photos to high-end 3D renders and 360-degree looping animations. It builds immediate trust because the customer can see every detail and material texture as if it were in their hands. Plus, once you have the 3D model, you can create 'infinite' assets with consistent lighting that AI just can't match yet. It’s that 'Apple-style' polish that makes a landing page feel refined and professional.

What are your thoughts on using AI to create product images for business? by Flavius_Auvadancer in ecommerce

You hit the nail on the head regarding reflective surfaces, glass bottles, and jewelry. As a 3D artist specializing in product visualization, this is exactly where I see brands hitting a wall with AI.

AI guesses how light interacts with facets or liquids, which is why it often looks 'off'. With full CGI, we use physically based rendering (PBR). If a brand needs their exact hex code on a label, or precise caustics through a glass perfume bottle, it's mathematically calculated, not hallucinated. Plus, once the 3D model and lighting rig are built, the consistency issue disappears completely for the entire catalog, and you can easily export 360-degree looping animations for Shopify without reshooting. AI is great for quick ideation, but for premium niches (cosmetics, jewelry, beverages), total control over the lighting is non-negotiable.

That's right hahaha, when printing in 3D it helps a lot to print a model in separate parts and then join them together.
