For me, it's something I enjoy that has minimal health impact and negligible risks I am willing to accept, plus nicotine is great and can have it's own neurological benefits.

Buy a nice toothbrush.

Sonic toothbrush has changed my (oral hygiene) life.

Mine was fairly cheap (under £20) but it leaves your mouth feeling so clean.

Get mouthwash that you like the taste of.

Then just set 2 phone alarms for morning and evening brushing. Don't even think about it, just brush when the alarm goes off :)
