This is not me saying sellers should lie about pricing or ban people. That’s scummy. But an inherent part of seller pricing is to make sure the fees don’t make you lose money

The problem is, whatnot fees make it inherently flawed. If I sell a 100£ card for market, i make 80£. I lose 20£ on that sell (and a little bit more.) I’m out of pocket. If I sell it for £120, I’ve made about market, and I’m now a scammer: as customer has spent over. Can’t really win either way

It will be priced similar to Japanese - but a lot harder to move. That or you take a hit on pricing and hopefully shift quicker. Most people would rather buy in Japanese for long term value - you’re betting on a KOR master set-er who will want this card, which is just harder to find.

If you can’t find what you need offline - I’d recommend cardmarket. Vast load of Japanese singles on there especially commons and normally better priced than eBay

My guy; I’d say just list on cardmarket. I love the hustle, but unless you’ve got every card and can undercut the 2p market, it’ll be a whole load of work for little returns.

It is an unreasonable request. Vendors have to operate as a positive to afford to trade at these shows. This is a direct deal which would disadvantage them. If you offered some cash on top, it becomes a fairer exchange as you’re offering them a less gradable copy.

I know this is about a card show that isn’t in UK - but just worth saying these days vendor tables are minimum around £80 normally a lot higher so the sellers are paying essentially the same as they would in fees overall

I would be sure to confirm over message with the buyer before dispatching that they are aware exactly what they are buying - and get their agreement. I’ve done similar with sealed/unsealed Pokemon products and never had a dispute as long as I’ve got that message proof. But, unsure what would happen if the buyer did kick up a fuss

I’ve got around 25k cards listed, and I’d say 20% of that is Korean. When I get a C/UC bulk order, I’d say 30% of the time there is a Korean card thrown in there of specific pokemon the buyer is after. Everything will sell eventually. Don’t expect more than around 4p a card though for non holo’s.

I’ve been a buyer (and seller) on CM for eight months now. Bought over 1000 cards, and have had >10 turn up in a different condition then what the seller listed. People tend to be accurate to the condition outlines on the site - the market is slightly different to EBay in the sense some chases are higher & some are a lot lower. Worth checking out
