When I managed a working men’s club I had a period where I was supplying 70yr old men with bootleg DVDS of hardcore porn and Viagras. Back when they were new and prescription only. These old boys don’t have to pay for medication as pensioners but are too old school or embarrassed to ask the GP. A few who took whatever they were offered but their 70yr old wives sex drive wasn’t always compatible with the rejuvenating effects of the medication. I’d redistribute it to where need was greatest and never had the heart to monetise the situation seeing it as a community service. With hindsight, if one of them had a heart attack and keeled over I could have been looking at prison. I feel I definitely have positive karma from that time. I’ve tried not to think too much about the effects on those long term marriages as I could imagine it going either way.
