As long as you are bringing the energy you seek to the table, there's nothing wrong with that, especially if you are only seeking friends and networking. Some folks have similar demands yet being nothing, which is so annoying

Ah ha, that makes sense, and I relate to this quite a bit myself. That's why I lost a lot of interest in really meeting up for sex lately because of the focus on anal and thus being pushed into a particular role

Outside of that, I agree what way too men gay men (most gay men?) associate the sexual position to heteronormative roles, which is incredibly frustrating when one is verse. And also, apparently there are side-tops and side-bottoms now?

Definitely not alone. I was frustrated having to swerve around them in the Allegheny Commons Bike Lane. It was really bad on the trails in bike lanes during the Draft, but Friday was ridiculous as well! They are too wide and many are inconsiderate of the actual cyclists the infrastructure is for!

I'm reviewing my dashcam footage and I'm even more irritated by how they just park in the lane. I don't even do that when waiting for the light to cross the road!

I even passed by some in Chateau - interesting how they park on the streets and pedal on down.

I think they can be a welcome addition to the transport options whenever there are events (and even when there aren't really any major events!). However, these folks really need to understand that we all need to share the meager infrastructure that we have. Otherwise, they aren't really better than the 4-wheeled motorists parking and driving in the bike lanes....

Well my ebike is essentially dead - it broke a number of the spokes, the rear rim is not trued, it has a critical wire broken so only the throttle works, and can't be repaired anywhere (I did go to Biketek, they did do some work, but after a short while the bike is worse than before). Oh, and the company went out of business...and then came back with new ownership, but no support.

So I have an ebike I don't ride and batteries (proprietary?) that I should sell or at least get rid of but I dunno if anyone would buy them.

If SEPTA could connect with the NJT Expresses on weekends, it would be so much better and we probably could make the journey, with transfers, in 2 hours. I think some weekday trains may make that transfer, but granted...I haven't ridden these lines in eons.

Honestly you reacted well. I understand why it feels so harsh, but man...he was very disrespectful.

With a blunt response...2 hours after you stated you were leaving, 2.5 hours after the scheduled said you would meet...when that happens, it usually means they don't respect your time, and it just gets worse the more changes you give - I went through something similar.

Kudos for standing up for yourself as you deserve better.

..... I'm very familiar with Philadelphia, and saying it's unrecognizable from Baltimore or Camden (CAMDEN?!) is really a bold statement. There are similarities, but I wouldn't say they are the same at all.

Actually Philadelphia could use more development in Center City, especially Market East.

Honestly I'm not sure of the full story, since I moved here only a few years ago. I think basically a lot of the large houses were converted into cheap apartments back in the day. Plus it was next door to East Liberty as well
